On this sacred Pentecost Sunday; the last Sunday after Easter, our church was beautifully covered in red, symbolizing the fire of the Holy Spirit that descended upon the disciples. ❤️🔥

Today we celebrated not only the birth of the Church, but also the beauty of unity through diversity, as Scripture was read in both IsiXhosa and Afrikaans, reminding us that on the day of Pentecost, people from many nations heard the Word of God in their own languages. 🙏🏾📖

Thank you to all our congregants who came dressed in red as a reflection of faith, revival, and the burning presence of the Holy Spirit among us.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide, strengthen, and renew us as one family in Christ.

On this special Mother’s Day, St. Paul's Church celebrates and honors every mother, grandmother, guardian, and woman who nurtures with love and grace. Your prayers, sacrifices, strength, and unwavering faith are a blessing to our families, our church, and our community.

This weekend, the Sunday School teachers, together with friends and family under the guidance of Ursula Harmse, hosted a beautiful Mother’s Day tea for the ladies of Adcock Old Age Home. Ursula has faithfully led this initiative for the past few years, and this year the Sunday School teachers proudly joined in to make the occasion even more special. The hall was beautifully decorated as the guests enjoyed tea, treats, fellowship, fun and laughter, together with an uplifting message from Mrs Glenis Jacobs. Thoughtful table settings and small gifts added warmth and joy as the residents were celebrated and appreciated ahead of Mother’s Day.

The morning was filled with smiles, meaningful connections across generations, and heartfelt moments that reminded us of the importance of love, kindness, and community. St Paul’s is truly grateful to everyone who contributed towards making the event such a blessing and a memorable occasion for both the residents and staff of the home. Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful women who continue to inspire us every day. 💐🙏

Happy Mother's Day.

What a beautiful day of fellowship, laughter, and family love at St Paul’s Anglican Church ☀️❤️

Our Bring & Braai Family Day was filled with joy, from the sizzling grills to the sound of children laughing as they enjoyed the jumping castle… and of course, the highlight of the day,
Spiderman swinging in to surprise the little ones 🕷️🎉

Moments like these remind us that church is not just a place of worship, but a home where families grow, connect, and create lasting memories together.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the day so special. We can’t wait to do it again! 🙌🏽🔥

He is risen indeed! ✝️✨

Yesterday at St Paul’s, we gathered in joy and gratitude for a beautiful Easter Sunday service led by Carol Brand. The service was deeply meaningful, marked by the sprinkling of water — a powerful symbol of the reaffirmation of our baptism and the renewal of our faith.

As the water touched us, we were reminded of God’s cleansing grace, His promises, and the new life we have in Christ. A truly blessed and spirit-filled celebration of hope, renewal, and resurrection.

As we prepare our hearts for the joy of Resurrection Sunday, today was a beautiful reminder that service begins long before the service itself 🙏✨

Our church family came together to clean, refresh, and ready the house of the Lord, creating a welcoming space for worship, reflection, and celebration.

“Let all things be done with love.” 💛

Join us tomorrow for our Resurrection Service as we celebrate the risen King!

An eventful and spirit-filled Good Friday service at St Paul’s Church 🙏🏾✝️

We journeyed through the powerful Seven Words of the Cross, reflecting deeply on Christ’s sacrifice, with each reading and message drawing us closer to the heart of His love. The service was beautifully crowned by a moving spiritual dance that ministered to every soul present.

Our Sunday School children were equally blessed, spending three meaningful hours learning about Holy Week and the significance of each service. Through engaging activities, they not only learned but also brought the story to life—reenacting the journey of Jesus leading up to the cross. The day ended on a joyful note with an Easter egg hunt, reminding us of the hope and new life we celebrate this season.

A truly blessed day of reflection, learning, and joy. ❤️

🌿 Palm Sunday Reflection 🌿

Today we remember the moment Jesus entered Jerusalem—welcomed with praise, palm branches, and hopeful hearts. A powerful reminder that even in moments of celebration, God is working through a greater purpose.

As we wave our palms, may we also open our hearts… to humility, to faith, and to the journey ahead. May we not only celebrate Him in the highs, but remain steadfast through every season.

Hosanna in the highest! 🙏🏽✨
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.
