As we arrive at the quiet and sacred pause between the cross and the resurrection, we gather as a church family in preparation and hope.

This morning from 10:00, we warmly invite everyone to come and help clean and prepare the church as we ready our sacred space for the celebration of new life. Your helping hands will help prepare the house of the Lord for the joy that is to come.

Later this afternoon at 16:00 we gather for the Paschal Vigil, one of the most meaningful services of the Christian calendar. During this beautiful service, the new Paschal Candle will be lit, symbolizing the light of Christ rising out of darkness and the promise of new life.

The vigil reminds us that even after the silence of the tomb, hope is reborn, light overcomes darkness, and new beginnings are possible through Christ.

The PE Diocesan Choir held its opening service at St Peter’s Anglican Church in Zwide. The chaplain Revd. Kwandiwe Ludziya, delivered a thought provoking sermon from Mark 3: 1-19, from which emphasis was for each choir member to remember that: “You are called- & when God calls you, He prepares your character so that you can be ready to deliver according to what you are called to do. It was a thought provoking & inspiring message that prepare us to sing and heal the wounded as we are called to sing
