Raised for a Higher Calling

Prayers That Turn the Tide
Elijah prayed, and after years of drought, rain returned to the land (1 Kings 18:41–45).

One of the deepest cries of my heart is that my prayers would rise above routine and become instruments in the hands of God to change circumstances and alter outcomes. I am asking the Lord to teach me how to pray prayers that truly matter. I want to pray prayers that turn the tide. Prayers that stop the advance of darkness. Prayers that release the purposes of God. Prayers that carry weight in heaven.

There are situations in our families, churches, and nations that will not change through human wisdom alone. They require men and women who know how to prevail in prayer. I want my prayers to move beyond surface matters and into those areas that are close to the heart of God. I want them to carry divine authority and spiritual impact.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example” 1 Timothy 4:12

1. Show love to one another
2. Seek God while you are young
3. Lead in speech, conduct, faith & purity
4. Walk in unity— We have the potential to change the world

PURITY
Ephesians 4:22-24
- Be transformed from the old self to the new
- Put off: Anger, disobedience, selfishness
- Put on: Christ-likeness
- Meditate on the Word of God daily

REMEMBER:
- You are the image of God
- You are Christ-like
- You have God’s power in you
