๐Ÿ’โœจ A beautiful celebration of faith, community, and womanhood! โœจ๐Ÿ’

Yesterday, our parish joyfully celebrated Womenโ€™s Day together with our Parish Feast Day in the hall. It was a day filled with warmth, laughter, and togetherness. ๐Ÿ’›

We shared a wonderful meal with lunch and dessert, and were treated to lovely individual performances by our talented children โ€” each one bringing something special to the celebration. ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ‘

Thank you to everyone who made the day so meaningful and memorable. Truly a celebration of our parish family! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

This weekend, our parish came together to honour and bless our beloved grandparents and elders during Mass. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’›

We give thanks for their wisdom, love, and the beautiful example of faith they continue to share with us each day. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธโœจ

Following the celebration, we enjoyed a lovely time of fellowship over tea and cake โ€” a small token of our appreciation for all that they are to our parish family. ๐Ÿฐโ˜•

May God continue to bless and strengthen them always. ๐Ÿค

GUIDE IN CHOOSING SONGS/HYMNS:
12th Sunday in Ordinary Time (June 21, 2026)
Reading 1: Jeremiah 20: 10-13; Responsorial Psalm (Ps. 69: 8-10, 14, 17, 13-35) R: LORD, IN YOUR GREAT LOVE, ANSWER ME; Reading 2: Romans 5: 12-15; Matthew 10: 26-33
1. REFLECT THE LITURGICAL THEME

The readings and prayers of this Sunday highlight:

* Trust in God amid trials and opposition.
* God's saving love and protection for His people.
* Courage in witnessing to Christ.
* Confidence that God never abandons those who remain faithful.

Jeremiah experiences persecution but continues to trust in the Lord (Jer 20:10-13). Jesus tells His disciples not to be afraid, for they are precious in God's sight (Mt 10:26-33). The Entrance Antiphon proclaims God as our strength and refuge, while the Communion Antiphon reminds us that God provides for all our needs.

2. KEY WORDS FOR SONG/ HYMN SELECTION

Choose songs that express:

* Trust
* Confidence in God
* Divine protection

* Courage in discipleship
* God's providence
* Hope amidst suffering
* Witness to Christ

Practical Rule for Music Ministers

Before selecting a song, ask:

1. Does it reflect the message of the readings or antiphons?
2. Does it help the assembly pray?
3. Is it liturgically appropriate for Ordinary Time?
4. Is it singable by the congregation?
5. Does it support the specific ritual moment?

Summary Theme for the Sunday:

"Trust in God's saving love and courageously bear witness to Christ, for He never abandons those who place their confidence in Him."

This was a very popular trend at the time.
And now, 10 years later, in 2026, during one of our Youth sessions.
The current Youth done the trend as well since " 2026 is the New 2016 "
