Highlights from today's service | THE WORD | PART 1 OF 2🔥
Today Apostle K. Baas shared the heart of God with us
He began by reading from Matthew 16:13-18, where Jesus asks His disciples, "Who do you say I am?"
The problem today is that many people still don't know God for themselves. The churches are full, but the people inside are not being built up into the true knowledge of Christ. Most people are just following blindly. They have never taken the time to know God personally and intimately.
He then took us to Acts 3:19 - "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord."
When a person seeks the Lord without any hidden agenda, but genuinely seeks Him with a pure heart, times of refreshing will come upon them from His presence. The moment your heart posture shifts towards God, you must know that God has also shifted towards you.
From Genesis 12:1, where God said to Abram, "Get out of your country... to a land that I will show you." - God doesn't show you everything all at once. You need to first move in obedience, and it is in your moving that He will show you the next step.
He then read Acts 17:26-27, that God has determined our pre-appointed times and boundaries, so that we should seek Him and find Him.
We are now tapping into a new movement, which is called the Apostolic Movement, as seen in Ephesians 4:8-12. This is the movement where Christ gave gifts to men - apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers - for the equipping of the saints and for the building up of the Body of Christ.
