Thank you Jesh for sharing a timely word today with us. Here’s a short recap:

Daniel didn’t compromise when the pressure came. He kept praying, kept serving, and kept trusting God.

His faithfulness wasn’t something he turned on when trouble arrived, it was already his way of life. And when the world tried to work against him, God proved Himself faithful.

Stay faithful. Keep praying. Keep serving. Keep your eyes on the Source.

There’s something powerful about an elder choosing to be vulnerable, open his heart, and speak about the next generation.

We honour the wisdom and legacy of those who have gone before us, while making room for the young men and women who will take the mantle and run with it.

PASSING THE TORCH 🔥

What does it look like to prepare the next generation?

Passing the torch isn’t about stepping aside and walking away. It’s about intentionally investing in young people, sharing what we have learned, making room for them, and helping them go further than we ever could.

There comes a threshold of maturity where we have to ask ourselves: Are we simply building something for our generation, or are we building something that will outlive us?

Jesus modelled this from the very beginning. He invested in others, poured Himself out, and prepared them to carry the mission forward.

The challenge is not only to open the door for the next generation, but to hold it open long enough for them to walk through it.

As we celebrate 30 years, may we be a generation that refuses to keep the torch to ourselves. May we pour ourselves out, equip the young, trust them, and give them the opportunity to carry the Gospel further.

The torch was never meant to stop with us. 🔥
