Ministers conducting Sunday school classes.
Sunday school is and remains a basic teaching whereby the foundation of our faith is taught to our children.
The Love for God,His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit is taught.
Our children are taught :
a)To know God
b)To know Jesus
c)To know and listen to the Holy Spirit.
d)To Love Jesus and steadfastly wait for His return.
e)To know, believe and live the New Apostolic creed, to honour and live according to the commandments of God.
f)To Love God above all and their neighbor as themselves.
g)They are also taught to practice self Love as it is the only way you can Love someone else, if you can only give of what you have.
The children was excited and enjoyed the new teachers ,this will continue to happen more in the future .

Wednesday 19th August 2026.

Bible Word:Exodus 3:11-12(excerpt)But Moses said to God,"Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh,and that I should bring the children of Isreal out of Egypt?" So He said,"i will certainly be with you."
*I will certainly be with you.*
Message:God's presence and love motivate us to remain with him.
Moses was going about his daily work:he was tending a flock of sheep in the desert.It was in thus situation that God revealed Himself in a burning bush.
God commissioned Moses to lead the US realities who were suffering under slavery in Egypt,to freedom,Moses doubted."Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh?"Gids reply encouraged him:I will certainly be with you.
-The presence of God in daily life and in the desert.
-A burning bush in the desert was nothing out of the ordinary in the dry hot desert.Yet the fact that this bus was not being consumed by the flames ,made Moses realize "Thus us God revealing Himself"
We too must look closely to recognize God's care and nearness on our lives.
*Summary:*
‐God said to us" I will certainly be with you"-in everyday life and especially in the "desert seasons"
Th name of God reveals His faithfulness:"I am here."He us a Gid who accompanies us and cares for us.
-God calls us by name: We are His beloved children. And want to be with Him as well.
*Retirement:*
During the divine service,Deacon Stephen Brandt was placed into well-deserved retirement.

**Bible Text:Matthew 6:12*
* -And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
"Change through forgiveness"
*Message:*Those who reflect on God's forgiveness discover within themselves a willingness to forgive.
*Summary:*
■Let us pass on the forgiveness we receive from God in our daily lives
■A negative example is the unforgiving servant who himself received forgiveness,but did not grant it to others.
■It can be difficult abd painful to forgive but we can ask God to give us the strength we need we need to do so.

The evening went extremely well with lively interaction and positive discussion.

The divine service was conducted by our newly appointed District Rector Denzel Paulse.
Bible Text: Matthew 10 v40; "He who receives you receives me, and he who receives Me receives He who sent Me. "Let us adhere to the teaching of the Apostles. The Bible text is part of the instructions given by Jesus when He sent out the twelve Apostles.
It is the ministry that counts not the person. I is important what God accomplices through the Apostles.- The Apostles teaches the doctrine of Jesus Christ--Jesus commissioned His Apostles to go and baptise all nations, teaching them to observe all things that He had commanded them(Matthew 28:19-20). The Apostles teach us how to preserve spiritual struggles:--Jesus announced that His disciples would have tribulations (John 16:33).The Apostles teach this as well .These tribulations refer to spiritual struggles. The Apostles prepare us for Christ`s return.:--Our preparation for the return of Christ requires a profound inner transformation. We are to become more and more like Christ.
The Bible Reading was done by Deacon Antonia Joubert from John20:19-20
The evening was concluded with fellowship that seemed it didn`t want to end as interactions and talk about the service and past experiences occurred.

*Bible Text:Matt.6:10 - **Your kingdom come.*
*Message:* *We are witnesses to both the present and coming kingdom of God.*
‐The verse is recorded in the Lord's Prayer,that Jesus taught during The Sermon in the mount.From the very beginig the kingdom of God was a central theme of Jesus' preaching,it refers to God's saving rule,which is established in Jesus.

-- **The kingdom of God:present and future.*
Jewish tradition regards the kingdom of God as a future events.The gospel clearly state that it gas already dawned in Jesus:
--The kingdom of God refers both to the present,though not completed,reign of God-which has come to humanity through Jesus Christ -and His future reign.

--- *The plea for the kingdom of God to come:*
The plea for the coming of God's kingdom implies a different way of life.Expressing this request suggests that our lives are centered on love for God and love for our neighbor.
The act of Holy Baptism was performed,one soul was baptized.

Bible Text: 1Peter 4:6-For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they may be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in spirit. JESUS DESCENT INTO THE REALM OF THE DEAD. Message: After His crucifxion, Jesus brought salvation to the realm of the dead.

On Saturday 26th June 2026
The Retired ministers, their spouses, spouses of deceased ministers, Active ministers, their wives and co-ordinators had breakfast at the Krystal Beach hotel in Strand/Gordon's Bay.
-Preparation started on Friday evening with church cleaning by ministers and co-ordinators.
The Saturday morning started with prayer before we set off for breakfast.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to an enjoyable morning.
