There is power in prayer!

In these quiet moments of prayer, we are reminded that we serve a God who hears, a God who cares, and a God who is able to do far more than we could ever ask or imagine.

Prayer may look like folded hands, bowed heads, and silent tears—but heaven hears every word. It is where burdens are surrendered, faith is strengthened, hearts are changed, and miracles begin.

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16

🙏 God Remembers: Our smallest offerings and prayers are never in vain.
🛡️ Trust in the Lord: When the world offers 'chariots and horses,' we choose to place our trust in the name of our God (Psalm 20).

Mental Health: The Mind, The Heart and The Spirit

On Sunday we were reminded that mental health is about how we think, feel, and behave. Just like we care for our physical bodies every day, we must prioritize our minds and hearts.
God cares for our entire being = spirit, soul, and body.
You don't have to face your struggles alone. Reach out, speak up, and seek help when you need it. Together, we can find healing.
the "Brain Cycle"—a powerful reminder of how interconnected our inner lives truly are. Everything begins with a thought, which then travels to the heart to shape our feelings, ultimately driving how we behave in our daily lives.

We can learn to pause, identify the patterns that affect our mental health negatively, and seek healing and balance. It's okay not to be okay, but let’s be a community. Let's break the stigma, be vulnerable, and support one another in this community.

Theme: Can God Trust You? 🙏🏽
Preacher: Pastor Gerald Mthembi

On Sunday, we were challenged to look beyond our gifts, talents, and visibility and ask a deeper question: Can God trust me with what He has placed in my hands?

Through the example of Phoebe in Romans 16, we were reminded that greater assignments are often entrusted to those who have already demonstrated faithfulness in the small and hidden places.

God has given each of us something to use for His Kingdom—our time, resources, skills, influence, and opportunities. We are called to be dependable, trustworthy, generous in supporting God's work, and humble in our service.

The question is not simply “What has God given me?” but “Can God count on me to use it faithfully?”

May our lives reflect a heart that says:
“Lord, You can count on me.” ❤️
