Lowveld Vineyard Church The Lowveld Vineyard Church is a Christian fellowship in Nelspruit. Our focus is on assisting new believers to become whole and spiritually mature.

Ministry Methodology and Philosophy
As God directs, we participate with Him in our strategy of “evangelism through relationships“. These worshipers will actively serve their communities, as an expression of the Kingdom of God. Our Values

This Is the Day

A lot of people like to look toward the future at the beginning of a year. There is something inspiring and refreshing about a fresh start and a clean slate.

A new year brings the hope of new opportunities and the promise of tomorrow.

1st of January is always the beginning of a new year, but it is also an opportunity to be rooted in the present. Each and every day is a gift.

🤔 We don’t know how many days we will be given, so it’s important to face each moment with gratitude, intention, joy, and thanksgiving. We give ourselves an incredible gift when we live fully with the time we have. It’s easy to get caught up in what we hope will happen, but we must be careful not to miss out on what’s right in front of us.

God is present with you in this very moment.
👉🏼 He doesn’t wait for special moments to show up.
👉🏼 He isn’t holding himself back until you get your life figured out or reach the goals you’ve set.
👉🏼 He is as close in this breath as he ever was or will be.

Turn your attention to his nearness. He is with you in the most mundane and ordinary moments of your life. Slow down and thank him for his ever-present faithfulness. Take a deep breath and recognize that you are never alone.

There is no better time than right now to lean into the presence of God. He offers you the fullness of his grace and mercy every single time you turn to him.

Don’t plan for the future so much that you breeze past the present. Instead, thank God for the gift of today. Find reasons to rejoice here and now, and rest in the presence of God’s love as it washes over you.

Live fully, love generously, and remember that God is with you always.❤

Grace and peace to you from Abba, our Father and Jesus Christ.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8 NIV)

Many believers out there are struggling with the question whether God still speaks to us. Because of this accelerated life that we are living in, it is difficult to hear God’s soft whisper. God does not remain distant or silent. He is a God who initiates, pursues, and communicates His love through Jesus Christ. The greatest word God has ever spoken is Jesus Himself. Through the life of Jesus, His death and resurrection, God declared His heart for us as His children and His desire to spend time with us.

Today God speaks through: The Holy Spirit; through scripture; impressed truths on our hearts; guides us in wisdom; encourages us through prophetic words; and confirms His word through others. As you seek Him today, remember that God who demonstrated His love through Jesus on the Cross is still speaking to each one of His beloved children. The question is not whether He speaks, but whether we are listening.

Dear Friends in Christ. ❤️

A FATHER- SON/CHILD RELATIONSHIP, RESTORED.

" When [the prodigal son] came to his SENSES, he said, ' How many of my father's hired servants have food to spare and here I am STARVING TO DEATH. I will set out and GO BACK TO MY FATHER and say to him: 'Father I have sinned against heaven and against you..." Luke 15:17+18(own emphasis)

What memories and images do you have of your EARTHLY DAD? .Was/is he unforgiving, harsh, relentless, cruel, always ready with the rod to punish unjustly? Did he constantly push you to perform better? Did he reject you when you needed him most? Were you ever able to have a loving father- child relationship with him? Did you fear him and obey his strict rules only out of fear? Do you see God the Father also so insensitive and without mercy?

The good news is, that our HEAVENLY FATHER is not like that. He is full of mercy and grace...

" The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow in anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will He harbor his anger forever, or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for THOSE WHO FEAR HIM; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our trangressions from us. " Ps 103: 8- 12 (own emphasis)

Jesus says: " All those who the Father gives me will come to me and WHOEVER COMES TO ME, I WILL NEVER DRIVE AWAY/CAST OUT." John 6:37 (NIV) (own emphasis)

Jesus assures his followers that, regardless of past mistakes or fears, His Father will never reject, abandon or turn away anyone who desperately and with all their hearts, come to Him.

" So the [prodigal son] GOT UP AND WENT TO HIS FATHER. But while the prodigal son was still a long way off, his father saw him and was FILLED WITH COMPASSION FOR HIM; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him." Luke 15:19+20. ( own emphasis)

A loving father- child relationship has been restored....

Kept in His Love
"Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life." - Jude 21NIV
Jude gives us both a responsibility and a promise.
Our responsibility is simple, yet profound: keep yourselves in God’s love. We do not earn His love, nor do we make Him love us more. His love was fully demonstrated at the cross. But we are called to remain in it - to live consciously in His presence, to abide in Him, to stay close to His heart through faith, prayer, obedience, and fellowship with Him.
Then comes the beautiful promise. We are waiting for the mercy of Jesus Christ that brings us into eternal life. Not even Jesus knows the hour, but HE IS COMING AGAIN. We have to keep ourselves in His love and remain in Him, surrender our hearts to the One and only One who is able to never ever let go of us.
"To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy..." Jude 24 NIV
Jesus is able. Surrendered into His hands Jesus keeps us. Jesus presents us without fault. Jesus has already done everything necessary through His death and resurrection. And Jesus does all of this with great joy because you are the reward of His suffering, the trophy of His grace, and the object of His love.
Stay in His love. Rest in His grace. Trust in His keeping power.
All glory, majesty, power, and authority belong to our God and Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord - now and forever. Jude 25 NIV Amen.

Psalms 28:1 NKJV
[1] To You I will cry, O Lord my Rock: Do not be silent to me, Lest, if You are silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit.

Dear Beloved,

In Psalm 91:1 David says he abides under the shadow of the Almighty. To abide in someone's shadow you have to be very close to Him. So close that even if He whispers you will still hear Him.

Physical life is sustained by physical food, but spiritual life is sustained by spiritual food. Spiritual food is the Words of Jesus! Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that protrudes from God's mouth! (Matt 4:4) That is why David cries out that the Lord must not be silent to him, because it will cause him to spiral down to the pit!

In summary: God is always speaking, but are we positioning ourselves daily to hear His voice? Are we tuning into God? His voice is life and life conquers death. We should position ourselves daily to get a Word from God through the spiritual disciplines! It will keep us from the PIT!

“As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 (NIV)

Joshua spoke these words as a clear commitment to God and a challenge for families to do the same. Faith is not only personal; it is meant to be lived out in our homes and passed on to others.

Serving the Lord as a household means:
- Abiding in Christ and remaining rooted in His presence.
- Worshipping and seeking God together.
- Discipling our family and modelling God’s Word.
- Living with love, obedience, and integrity.
- Seeking God’s wisdom in daily decisions.
- Extending grace and forgiveness to one another.
- Trusting God in every season.

Joshua’s declaration reminds us that our example influences those around us. May we choose today to serve the Lord wholeheartedly and lead our households in a way that honours Him.

Willing to Seek Him*

The story of David and Bathsheba is one of the most notorious accounts in King David's life *(2 Samuel 11-12).

After choosing to forgo battle with his troops and lounging about lazily in his palace, the king sees a beautiful woman bathing from his roof. 😳 What follows is adultery, conspiracy, and ultimately — murder.

When David is confronted by Nathan the Prophet, he admits his sin. It's in this darkness that he experiences anguish (Psalm 51).

Which then brings us to the joy of Psalm 32.

Here, David rejoices in the mercy the Lord has shown him. After describing the benefits of forgiveness and confession, the point of view takes a meaningful turn in verse 8 with Yahweh becoming the speaker. He says, "I will instruct you and show you the way to go; with my eye on you, I will give counsel."

🙏🏼📖🔥 The significance of that shift is no accident.

David put this story in motion by not seeking God's instruction, teaching or counsel. Instead, he listened to his own desires. He wanted to control his life, and in a sense, God let him.

🤦🏻‍♂️ The results speak for themselves.

Now, after repentance and forgiveness, David's soul has regained fellowship with the Lord. And in verse 8, God is telling us a benefit of that fellowship: His loving guidance — not distant or generic, but tailored to every detail of who you are and where you've been.

When we're in right relation with God, He won't hide His way from us.

When we don’t know which way to go, He will instruct us.

When we don’t see how we can carry out what He’s called us to, He will teach us.

When we need someone in our corner, He will counsel us.

❓❗ The question is whether we're *truthfully* willing to seek Him.

Grace and peace to you from Abba, our Father and Jesus Christ.

For we live by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7 NIV)

Faith is far more than simply believing that God exists; it is placing our complete trust in His character, His promises, and His Word, even when our circumstances seem uncertain. This passage highlights two important aspects of faith.

First, we are called to trust every word that Jesus speaks. Genuine faith means believing that His promises are true, even when we cannot yet see the outcome. As believers, we are invited to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, pray with confidence, and expect God to move in both ordinary and extraordinary ways.

Second, we are called to listen to every word that Jesus speaks. Faith is not only about trusting God's promises but also about responding in obedience. Sometimes this requires patient waiting, while at other times it calls for a bold step of faith. In every season, our confidence rests not in our own abilities or understanding, but in the goodness, wisdom, and faithfulness of God.

THE PIGSTY LIFE.

"After the son had spent EVERYTHING there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything. " Luke 15:14-16

Who is this prodigal son?

It is every child of the Father, who has taken his/her inheritance, in pursuing the life in abundance, with SELF-HELP METHODS.

It is every child of the Father who thinks that through EXTRAMARITAL and PROMISCUOUS RELATIONSHIPS, they can find the love and happiness they long for.

It is every child of the Father who tries to numb their pain, internal wounds, rejection, frustration, depression, anxiety, loneliness and anger, through ALCOHOL and DRUG ABUSE.

It is every child of the Father who lives with LIES, DECEIT and PRETENCE.

It is every child of the Father who WASTED HIS/HER ENTIRE INHERITANCE, and lost everything through WRONG CHOICES and DECISIONS...

It is every child of the Father who DIDN'T PREPARE FOR TIMES OF NEED....and allowed the devil to 'steal, kill and destroy'...(John 10:10a)

The world, with all its knowledge and technology and techniques, cannot help....

There is only ONE WAY OUT of this wasted pigpen life.... RETURN in REPENTANCE to the ABUNDANCE OF THE FATHER'S HOUSE...
Your Father is waiting for you!
DO NOT DELAY!! 🙏🏻
