REIGNING WITH CHRIST

Jesus Christ did not remain in the grave. He rose again in victory. When He died, our sins died with Him. When He was raised, we were also raised with Him. Through His resurrection, we received more than forgiveness of sins; we received the privilege of reigning together with Him.

Ephesians 2:5-6 declares that even when we were dead in trespasses, God made us alive together with Christ. By grace we have been saved, and He raised us together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Reigning begins with a seat. You cannot reign without a seat. A seat gives authority, a voice, and the right to exercise dominion. God not only saved us; He seated us with Christ in heavenly places.

The heavenly place is a position above principalities, powers, and every earthly limitation. Though we live physically on earth, spiritually we have been positioned with Christ. We are no longer governed by the limitations of the earthly realm because we have been seated in the supernatural sphere with Christ.

●WHAT QUALIFIES YOU TO REIGN

1. YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN

Before a person can reign with Christ, they must first qualify.

A person who is not born again cannot reign with Christ. Reigning with Christ is reserved for those who have entered into a relationship with Him. Salvation is a spiritual translation from one kingdom into another.

📖 Colossians 1:13

"He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love."

When a person is born again, they enter into a place called Christ.

📖 2 Corinthians 5:17

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."

Christ is not only a person to believe in; He is also the place where the believer is now located. Our lives are no longer defined by our background, our bloodline, or our earthly circumstances. Our lives are hidden in Christ.

📖 Colossians 3:3

*"For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God."*

You may physically live in Matsulu, but spiritually, yours. life is hidden in Christ. You may walk on earth, but your true position is in Him. This is the reality every believer must possess if they are to reign with Christ.

2. KNOW CHRIST PERSONALLY

📖 John 17:3

"And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."

You cannot reign with someone you do not know. Enter into a personal relationship with Christ. Do not merely know about Him; know Him for yourself. Grow in intimacy with Him so that your reign may be established and sustained.

📖 Daniel 11:32

"Those who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits."

📖 Ephesians 1:17-18

We must seek the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ. Every believer must pursue a deeper revelation of who Jesus is. It is not enough to know the Scriptures intellectually; one must encounter the living Word behind the written Word.

Know God personally. Do not rely solely on the revelation of your pastor, your parents, or other believers. Seek to know Him for yourself. As your knowledge of Christ grows, your authority in the spirit also grows.

Your spiritual authority is established through your knowledge of God.

3. KNOW YOUR IDENTITY

📖 John 3:31

*"He who comes from above is above all."*

A believer must know where they come from. We may be on earth physically, but our spiritual origin is from above. When challenges arise, do not speak according to your circumstances. Speak according to your identity in Christ.

Declare who God says you are. Confess your heavenly reality. Do not wait for the manifestation before speaking it. Speak it because it is already established in Christ.

Joseph knew his destiny long before he sat in the palace. Even when he was rejected, sold, and imprisoned, he remained confident in the revelation God had given him.

Esther understood that she was destined for the palace before she ever wore the crown.

Jesus Himself declared that His Kingdom was not of this world. Though He walked on earth, He understood His heavenly origin and assignment.

As believers, we must learn to confess our way into the reality of God's promises. Refuse to be limited by your present circumstances. Refuse to define yourself according to your environment.

Declare that you reign with Christ.

Declare that you are called for greater things.

Declare that you are a solution to your generation.

Declare that nations are waiting for your manifestation.

*CONCLUSION*

We may be in this world, but we do not belong to this world. We are not ordinary people. We have been called into a higher life, a life of dominion, authority, and purpose.

We have not been called to be victims of circumstances. We have been called to reign with Christ. We are here to influence, transform, and bring solutions wherever God places us.

We are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Wherever we go, we must carry answers. Wherever we are found, we must add value. It should never be said that people remained without solutions in our presence.

We have been called to shift destinies, change lives, and bring the reality of God's Kingdom into the earth. We have been called to conquer, to subdue, and to walk in dominion.

Know who you are.

Know where you are seated.

Know the Christ in whom you are hidden.

Walk boldly in your identity and reign with Christ.

PRAYER DECLARATION

🙏 Father, in the Name of Jesus,

I declare that I have been born and called to reign with Christ.

I affirm that I am seated together with Christ Jesus in heavenly places.

I declare that I reign in my territory, in my generation, and wherever You have called me to influence.

Nothing shall suffocate my destiny. Nothing shall hinder my purpose.

I affirm that Christ became poor so that I might become rich in every area of life according to His will.

Because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I declare that I am seated in heavenly places and walk in divine authority.

No sickness, no calamity, and no power of darkness shall prevail against me.

Through the power of the Blood of Jesus, I return to my place of dominion, my place of authority, and my place of advantage.

Where sin caused me to lose ground, I recover through the finished work of Christ.

Sin shall no longer rule over my life.

Today I receive afresh the reality that I have been raised together with Christ to reign with Him.

I walk in victory.
I walk in dominion.
I walk in purpose.
I walk in my God-given advantage.

Opening Remarks:

The Call to a Higher Life
Believers are called to participate in a life defined by God’s glory and excellence.

A major challenge in the Body of Christ is understanding why many Christians fail to manifest this reality despite it being their spiritual birthright.

An Inward Reality: When a believer is born again, they are born anew. Like a male infant who already has the hidden blueprint for a beard, a believer already possesses everything they need—it is simply a matter of time and spiritual growth before it manifests.

No Outsourcing Required: Saints cannot and do not need to outsource anything; God has already provided a higher life of glory and excellence.
The Standard of Light: Jesus emphasised that saints are the light of the world and must live according to the high standard of their identity.

1Pet 1:2Foundational Gifts: Grace and peace are multiplied to us. Much like university students who receive a prospectus by virtue of being accepted, believers are entitled to these foundational gifts simply by being in Christ.

■Main Scripture

1. The Power Within Us (2 Peter 1:2-3)

"According to his divine power..."

Divine Power: This refers to God's omnipotence working in and through us via the Holy Spirit.
Dunamis Power: Derived from the Greek word root meaning "dynamite." It represents an inherent, explosive, and foundational power residing inside every saint (Acts 1:8).

Authority of the Giver: You cannot give what you do not own. When Joseph of Arimathea requested the body of Jesus, Pilate granted it because he held the authority to do so. Similarly, God has the absolute authority to grant us salvation and all things about life and godliness—and whatever He gives lasts forever.

Zoe Life: God gives us the Zoe kind of life—the divine, indestructible life of God that Adam and Eve originally enjoyed, free from sickness and spiritual death.

2. Understanding Glory (Doxa & Doxazo)

Doxa (Hebrew/Greek Context): To praise, magnify, and manifest honour. If you are called to glory, your life must compel people to see God through your worship.

Doxazo: To be glorified through, or to flaunt glory through a situation. Our lives should openly display and publish God's goodness.

Resident Glory: Just as Moses' face shone with resident glory after descending Mount Sinai, a believer should carry a tangible, residing presence of God (John 17:1).

Bearing Fruit: True glory is revealed through productivity (John 15). God is not pleased when His people suffer; He rejoices in the prosperity and fruitfulness of His saints.

3. Understanding Excellence

Definition: Excellence is completeness; it is a God-given ability operating at the highest possible level.
The Evidence of Excellence
An excellent life is attractive to people
of high authority and opens doors to serve before kings.

Practical Presentation:

Excellence reflects in how you speak, how you treat others (not shouting at people), how you dress, and how you prepare.

Key Principle: Preparation gives birth to excellence.

■Requirements to Walk in Glory and Excellence

1. Possess Epignosis (Experiential Knowledge)

Casual knowledge is not enough. Believers must possess Epignosis—full, exact, experiential, and potential knowledge of God.

The Royal example:
A child raised in a royal palace naturally learns how to live and interact with kings through continuous exposure and experience.

How to Know God:
You build capacity to know God personally through His Word, prayer, and fellowship with other saints (John 17:3, Philippians 3:10).

Early Preparation:
2 Chronicles 27:6 notes that Jotham became mighty because he prepared his ways before the Lord early. Early preparation guarantees public manifestation.

2. Diligent Meditation and Confession

Meditation (1 Timothy 4:15): Meditate on the Word so that your progress and excellence are evident to all. You cannot mark your own script; other people should see the evidence of God’s glory in you (Psalm 1:2-3).

Imitating Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18): Continually behold and reflect the nature of Jesus.

Speaking the Word: Actively confess excellence as your birthright. Use the Word to shift atmospheres, combat generational family patterns, and command the upcoming month of June.

■Why Many Christians Fail to Manifest

_Lack of Christ-like Character (Ephesians 4:19-22)_

Satan cannot possess a believer, but he can oppress them if they lack godly character. Walking with a darkened mind or relying on old, unrenewed character blocks the manifestation of glory.

*Conclusion*

Ignorance and Rejection of Knowledge (Hosea 4:6): Many saints either completely lack spiritual knowledge or actively reject it when it is presented.

Resisting the Process: True growth requires training. Joseph had to journey from the prison to the palace. Many believers try to "bail themselves out" when God places them in a developmental process.

Isolation and Lack of Guidance (Acts 8:30): Like the Ethiopian eu**ch who needed Philip to explain the scriptures, believers need spiritual guides to teach them how to navigate a life of excellence. Without understanding, they walk in darkness despite their high identity (Psalm 82:6).

Prophetic Prayer.

*Declaration*

Father, in the name of Jesus,

I thank You for this Word that has been spoken into my life and destiny today. I declare that I have been chosen and called out into a life of excellence and glory.
I am excellent in all my ways, and I possess the divine ability to excel. As He is, so am I in this world.
Glory and excellence are my inheritance and my permanent reality.

Amen.

Title: Character Vs Charisma part 2

*Opening Remarks:*
Understanding Character_

A person’s character is the foundation of everything.

While charisma can make a person popular or gifted, only a solid character has the power to sustain them.

Rising to a position is often simple, but staying there requires structural integrity within our souls.

*The Components of Character*

*Surface Behaviour:* The very first thing people see when they interact with you.

*Behavioural Patterns* : The routine actions, habits, and choices a person makes on a daily basis.

*The Enemy’s Strategy:* Satan does not care if you speak in tongues, nor did he care that Adam and Eve had everything in the Garden of Eden. He bypassed their privileges and targeted their character. It is the ultimate gateway he uses to bring believers down.

3 *Keys to Maintaining a Godly Character*

1. *Subdue the Flesh* *(Adama)*

Genesis 1:26 & 28 (KJV): "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion... Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it..."

*The Hebrew Insight:*

In Hebrew, the word for earth is Adama, from which the name Adam is derived. When God commanded man to subdue the earth, He was fundamentally commanding man to subdue the flesh.

*The Private Battle:* God knows the enemy attacks through the flesh. To conquer public battles, you must first win your private battles. Like the Apostle Paul, we must refuse to give the flesh its ungodly expressions to build a strong character (1 Corinthians 15:30 – "I die daily").

2. *Walk in the Spirit Daily*

Galatians 5:16: "Walk in
the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh."

To live a successful life as a saint, you must maintain a constant, daily relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Walking in the Spirit naturally produces the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22), which serves as the ultimate preservation of a good character.

3. *Practice the Power of Constraint and Restraint*

*The Concept of Mahe* (Hebrew): This is the maturity level where you have the sight, the power, and the opportunity to do something wrong, but you deliberately choose to restrain yourself.

*Setting Boundaries: Just because* something is available or permissible does not mean it is good for you. You must set limitations for the sake of your character.

Looking at Matsulu - Certain occasions or places in Matsulu might look harmless, but being seen there can compromise or manipulate your character in the eyes of the community. Guard your reputation.

Biblically -
Character in Action

Joseph: Clean Character Attracts Favour (Genesis 39)
The Test: As a slave in Potiphar’s house, Joseph was repeatedly propositioned by Potiphar's wife.

*The Restraint:* He chose to run away, leaving his cloak behind, because he knew his destiny required a clean character. If he had compromised, he would have aborted his future.

*The Result:* Whether he was in Potiphar's house, stuck in prison, or elevated to Prime Minister, the hand of the Lord was with Joseph (Genesis 39:2). Clean character is a magnet for the presence and favour of God, turning everything you touch into gold.

*Daniel and the Three Hebrew Boys:*

*The Buffet Test*

(Daniel 1)
They refused to defile themselves with the King's rich food and wine. They chose to be different by practicing the power of constraint, and God responded by granting them supernatural favour and positioning.

The Divine Benefits of a Flourishing Character
When your character is tested and proven, you qualify for breakthroughs without even having to beg for them.

As Psalm 84:11 notes, God will withhold no good thing from those who walk uprightly.

You Qualify for Opportunities: Excellent character positions you for open doors (Daniel 6:3).

You Are Sought Out in Absence: Daniel had an "excellent spirit" and deep wisdom (Daniel 5:12). People may forget your words, but they will never forget your character. He was recommended and called upon even when he wasn't in the room.

*Character: Mentorship & Correction*

You cannot develop character in isolation. God uses specific structures to keep us on track:

A. The Power of Correction

Proverbs 12:1: "Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish."

Avoid *Sycophants*: Do not surround yourself with people who only want to please you and refuse to tell you the truth. True friends and leaders correct you to preserve your destiny.

*A Teachable Heart:*
Cultivate a teachable spirit daily (Mark 4:25). Be willing to ask, "How can I improve myself?"—even down to the way you dress to represent your character.

B. *The Blueprint of Esther*: Two Types of Mentors

Esther required two distinct mentors to unlock her royal destiny (Esther 4:14):

Mordecai: Provided the foundation of faith, identity, and inner character. He raised her for royalty.

Hegai: Taught her the protocols of the palace—how to dress, carry herself, and navigate the royal courts. You cannot enter destiny haphazardly; appreciate the people God assigns to refine you.

*Closing Prayer & Declaration*

"Father, in the name of Jesus, in this season may my character be perfected. May I never forsake Godly principles and a Godly character. Help me to always hearken to the principles of Your word. Lord, You have already taught me how I ought to live—help me to work intentionally on my character daily so that my destiny may be unlocked and the favour of God may flow freely. In Jesus' name, Amen."
