Matthew 6:33

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

Put God first in everything that you do. God should never be number 2 in your life. When God blesses you, he should be your first priority. Think, “God first”

4. They are steadfast and unmovable

If you don’t trust what God has said, you will not receive blessings. Regardless of where you go, because of lack of trust, you will not receive your blessings. Strong Christians are steadfast and unmovable

1 Corinthians 15:58

“Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”

The Bible says be steadfast and unmovable. Don’t be someone who is easily shaken. Know that you labour is not in vain. A Christian’s journey is full of battles, disappointments and discouragements. But we believers should be strong enough to remain steadfast despite the battles we encounter.

Isaiah 45:2-3

““I will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron,“I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hoards in secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who call you by your name.”

Don’t be afraid. Those who are strong in Christianity are never shaken. They keep on moving, they keep on pushing regardless of the circumstances because they know their God is the one who helps them out. Because they know they’re Gid will go before them.

3. They love their brethren/fellow Christians

This is a demon which disrupts most churches. Strong Christian’s love their fellow Christ

Matthew 22:39
“And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

John 13:34
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.”

Love your neighbour as you love yourself. In the house of God, don’t hold grudges against one another. Jesus said “these is how people will know that we are his disciples” by loving one another. This is how people of the world will know that we are his disciples. Love one another so you can truly be a disciple of Jesus. Forgive and forget.

Matthew 13:34

2. They love God unconditionally

They love God with all their heart, with all their mind and all their strength. Everything about them love God. Their love for God is not dependent on what God can do for them. Their love for God doesn’t depend on what God has done for them. In ease or in hardships they still love God. They love God whether he has answered their prayers or not. They don’t come to church because they want God to heal them or bless them, they go to church simply because they love him. Come rain or sunshine, you’ll see these people at church. That’s how we should love our God.

Matthew 22:37

“And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”

Romans 8:35-39

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Nothing should separate us from the love of God. Sickness shouldn’t push you away from God. The moment people hear something, they backslide.

Some of you still exist today because of your calling, do not run away from your calling for it might be your source of life.

Characteristics of a strong Christian

1. They are dedicated to God and his work.

Good Christians are never lazy. They invest their time to God. They are committed to his work. They are never lazy. They invest all in the word of God. They love God.

John 9:4

“We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work.”

The Bible says let us work for God while it’s still day for night is coming. The time to work for God is now for you don’t know what is coming tomorrow. If you want to serve God, serve him now.
Make the word of God your food. Be committed to the word of God.

Dedicate yourself to the work of God. When talking about the work of God we are talking about the work of the church. Make yourself available. Give yourself to the work of Church.

Allow God to use us. No one should just sit in church and allow others to work. You’re here to worship God. Everyone must participate in the house of God

Joshua 1:6-9
God wants you to be a strong Christians when you are strong big things begin to manifest in your life

We need to be desperate for God you must be strong don't be weak God doesn't want weak Christians.

Mark 15:25-30
They nailed him up at nine o’clock in the morning. The charge against him—the king of the jews—was scrawled across a sign. Along with him, they crucified two criminals, one to his right, the other to his left. People passing along the road jeered, shaking their heads in mock lament: “You bragged that you could tear down the Temple and then rebuild it in three days—so show us your stuff! Save yourself! If you’re really God’s Son, come down from that cross!”

Have a revelation. Even if people speak bad about your name, know that you have angels upon your life.

Luke 23:32-43
Two others, both criminals, were taken along with him for ex*****on. When they got to the place called Skull Hill, they crucified him, along with the criminals, one on his right, the other on his left. Jesus prayed, “Father, forgive them; they don’t know what they’re doing.” Dividing up his clothes, they threw dice for them. The people stood there staring at Jesus, and the ringleaders made faces, taunting, “He saved others. Let’s see him save himself! The Messiah of God—ha! The Chosen—ha!” The soldiers also came up and poked fun at him, making a game of it. They toasted him with sour wine: “So you’re King of the Jews! Save yourself!” Printed over him was a sign: this is the king of the jews. One of the criminals hanging alongside cursed him: “Some Messiah you are! Save yourself! Save us!” But the other one made him shut up: “Have you no fear of God? You’re getting the same as him. We deserve this, but not him—he did nothing to deserve this.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you enter your kingdom.”

Anything that you're going through from today, you are innocent. Don't respond to them, God will respond for you.
When you're seated, constantly utter, "Jesus remember me"
