JSM Sunday Service with God's servant, Emmanuel Khosa
Sermon
Proof Text: 2 Corinthians 5:6-7
- There is a role that you must play in order to have peace. God wants you to have peace. For Jesus said, โPeace I live with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world givesโ (John 14:27).
- If you live a life where you strive for others to have peace, but you do not have it, that is as good as you did not give them that peace. You must strive to have peace first.
- You cannot connect with God without peace.
- You must live in love, for the word of God says that you must love your neighbour as you love yourself (Mark 12:31).
- The things of the Spirit requires you to hear and understand.
- Things begin to happen when you learn to hear and understand. They will not happen the way you want them to happen if you do not understand.
- God makes things available to you, but you do not have the right way of using them.
- Change demands focus and time. The spirit world is a place where you must take full control.
- God has made His power available to you. The only person who can receive power is the one who will work towards claiming it.
- There are things that change demands from you.
- A church is a place where you have to overcome. A place where things must change.
- When faith has to work, it will demand what the word wants you to see in you.
- The Word of God enables your spirit to overcome areas which others struggle to overcome. When you meditate, the word must go straight to your spirit.
- Your situation must change. The Word of God is meant to dwell in your spirit so that it can work and enables the desires of your heart to manifest. It requires you to force it into your spirit. After receiving it, the devil will try to corrupt your mind with bad thoughts or negativity.
- Meditating upon His word is a battle. You must force it because it is there to help you, whereas the things that come naturally are there to destroy you.
- Godโs Word holds you by your hand and makes you to enter into places you do not even qualify.
- God requires you to be in agreement with Him.
- Satan does not have the kind of power you think he has. In the case of Adam and Eve, it is not satan who had power over them, but sin (Genesis 3).
- Godโs word takes you where your things are located. The word takes you there, but not in agreement with your flesh. The word is there to lead you.
- When you are led by the word, nothing will hinder you, and your blessings are bound to manifest.
- You become liberated when you begin to understand the things of the Spirit (Godโs Word).
- The one who the enemy does not have control over is the one who is led by the Word of God.
- When you allow His word to dwell in your spirit, it begins to direct you into places where you are created to succeed.
- The God who created the heavens and the earth has put in place laws, but they are not followed. This may be the reason why people do not follow the regulations you have put in place.
- You must realise that as a child of God, your mission is to live a life of faith.
- Where faith dwells, God only requires obedience and trust in Him.
- In the case of Mary, the angel Gabriel revealed the kind of method God was going to use for Mary to conceive. She had an assignment of not mixing her method with Godโs own ( Luke 1:30-35).
~ When you are not in agreement with Godโs ways, you tend to mess things and start blaming others instead of realising that you used your own ways rather than Godโs ways.
- The word of God says that you must declare that you are strong in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:10).
- God does not have a problem with your situation, but it becomes a problem when you are unable to confess His word upon that situation to a point where it becomes part of you.
- When you speak more of your situation, you are encouraging it to stay longer than it should have. The word delivers you from your situation.
- You keep failing because you do not take God serious.
- You have to be persistent, because those who walked with God and succeeded did not give up.
