The lame man asked for alms, but Peter gave him something far greater, the power of Jesus Christ. Many people passed by and gave what they could, but Peter gave what he possessed: the name of Jesus.

Today, the world has many needs, both physical and spiritual, but its greatest need is Christ. If believers fail to share Jesus with the world, we withhold the most valuable gift we have, for it is through His name that people are saved, healed, delivered, and set free.

One of the principles of love revealed in Scripture is that love gives what is valuable. True love does not merely give what is convenient or what is left over; it gives what is treasured.

If Jesus is truly valuable to us, we will share Him with others. We will not keep Him to ourselves while the world remains in need.
