- Advice for the week •

This Aayat was revealed at the incident whereby محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم was delivering the Jummuah lecture when a caravan arrived and many left him standing to go see of they could strike a business deal/bargain.

I would like to bring to our attention two things:

1. Rizq is from الله and whatever is with him is far better than any worldly gain.
2. Respecting the speaker. This is one I would like to touch on further. Today we unfortunately see in our Masaajid the following:
- When a person or Imaam stands after the Fardh Salaah to make an announcement for either a program after the remaining Salaah or to give short Advices, you find few who stand up, show their backs to the speaker and walk out while he is addressing the congregation. This is extremely disrespectful to the speaker/announcer💔 This announcement is no longer than a few seconds or minutes.
- If we do not have an emergency or rushing to be somewhere, for the pleasure of الله even if you know you not going to sit afterwards, at least respect the speaker by waiting for him to complete and thereafter stand and leave.
- In the event you not going to remain behind for the program, read your Sunnah/Witr/Nafl Salaah somewhere at the back so if the speaker begins his talk it will not be disrespectful leaving in his presence but rather out of sight.
- Our beauty deen teaches us to be concerned about the feeling of others hence if we do just walk out on the speaker/announcer he might feel hurt in his heart ❤
- May الله grant us the understanding and who knows that the few seconds or minutes sitting for the pleasure of الله could be the means of our entry into جنة الفردوس
- Let us be like Sahaba, when Aayats were revealed, they submitted and obeyed immediately ❤️
