Madrasah Ihyaa Id-Deen The objective of our institution is the revival of complete Deen in mankind until the day of Qiyaamah. We offer Haafith, Aalim and Tarbiyah Programmes.

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE MOST KIND, THE MOST MERCIFUL. The most important objective of our institution, as a whole is firstly, the revival of complete Deen in the entre mankind until the day of Qiyaamah. Tarbiyah and Islaamic nurturing are always of utmost importance. In the Haafith and Haafithah section, our intention is to implement the highest level of tajweed and quality of Quraan with the co

rrect Islaamic nurturing. In the Aalim section we are inspired to create true scholars and servants of Deen, who are imbued with the Sifaat of Nubuwwat. In the Kindergarten section, we endeavour to impress upon little children from the age of 3 years old, the basics at grass root level. In the “Al-Badr Home for underprivileged children” our target is to nurture these previously destitute children as our own, instilling within them the highest of morals, and to empower them with the opportunity to live a meaningful life. In the informal settlements,Vlakfontein and Thembelihle, our aim is to impart and
empower the local people with the highest level of practical Deen. This in brief, are the main branches of our Institute. Our institute caters for children who live in informal settlements who have never been exposed to Islaam or Muslims except from a distance. Majority of our students are reverts to Islaam. Here we provide not only Islaamic education, but feed these children and clothe them. Throughout the year we endeavour to assist as many families as we can with groceries, blankets and other basic necessities that many may take for granted. More importantly, we initiated empowerment programs to uplift individuals and the community at large. We require assistance on an ongoing basis. Your help in this regard is highly appreciated. Fitra or Zakat Al Fitr is an obligatory charity that is obligatory for every Muslim, to be paid on their own behalf and on behalf of their dependents (Wife, children, etc), if they have the means to do so.

Rasulullâh ﷺ made charity of Fitr compulsory as a purification of fasts from useless talks and vile discourses and also as food to the poor. (Abû Dawûd)

Sha’baan is the eighth month of the Islamic calendar, falling between the holy month of Rajab and the glorious month of Ramadan. The word ‘Sha’baan’ means to spread or distribute. This month was so called because during this time the people of Arabia dispersed in search of water or set out on military expeditions after the holy month of Rajab had ended.

Sha’ban is one of the meritorious months for which we find particular instructions in the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is reported in the authentic Ahaadith that Nabi ﷺ used to fast most of the month in Sha’baan. These fasts were not obligatory on him but Sha’ban is the month immediately preceding the month of Ramadaan. Therefore, Nabi ﷺ began his preparations of fasting right from the month of Sha`baan.

Alhamdulillah, MADRASAH IHYAA ID-DEEN is humbled to announce the opening of a new Musallah, which is intended to be a Masjid in future, located in Lenasia Extension 2 @ No 58 Gardenia Avenue, at the T Junction of Elm.
