Shalom, Jackie!

Today we honour and celebrate Jackie as she steps into a new season of life.

Over many years, Jackie has faithfully served our church family in numerous ways, always with a willing heart and a servant spirit. Most recently, she has been a valued member of our worship team, helping to lead us into the presence of the Lord through worship.

As she begins this exciting new chapter—retirement, building her dream home, and preparing for her move to Swellendam—we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for her loving service, dedication, and faithfulness.

Jackie, thank you for the many ways you have blessed our church family. Your kindness, commitment, and love for the Lord have left a lasting impact on so many lives.

We pray God's richest blessing over you in this new season. May He guide every step, provide for every need, and fill your new home with His presence, peace, and joy.

"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace." — Numbers 6:24–26

Worship in Truth: An Expression of Shalom

Worship is more than words. It is loving and honouring God with our whole being—body, mind and soul.

Through expressive worship dance, the body becomes an instrument of praise, the mind is focused on God's truth, and the soul responds in surrender and adoration.

When worship flows from a heart aligned with God's truth, it becomes an expression of "Shalom—God's peace, wholeness and harmony at work within us.

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6
