Statement to the UPCSA KwaThema Congregation

Dear Beloved UPCSA KwaThema Family,

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the devastating fire tragedy that has completely destroyed the home of the Galela family. We are grateful that lives were spared, but the family has lost their home and many of their personal belongings.

As the body of Christ, we are called to bear one another's burdens and to demonstrate God's love through compassion and practical support. We therefore appeal to every member of the church to assist the Galela family by donating essential necessities such as clothing, blankets, bedding, toiletries, non-perishable food items, kitchen utensils, and any other household items that may help them begin rebuilding their lives.

Donations may be taken directly to the Galela family's home, as they are spending most of their time there, or you may contact your district elder, who will gladly assist in coordinating the delivery of your contribution.

Above all, we ask that you uphold the Galela family in your prayers during this difficult season. Pray that God will comfort them, strengthen their faith, provide for every need, and surround them with His peace and loving care.

Thank you for your love, generosity, and faithful prayers. May the Lord bless each one who extends a helping hand to our brothers and sisters in Christ.

"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2

Yours in Christ,

UPCSA KwaThema Leadership
