Nothing Lasts Forever - This Too Shall Pass: Life is a journey fraught with challenges and hardships. At times life leaves us feeling helpless, hopeless, and weighed down. In these dark and difficult moments, we must not forget that nothing lasts forever. Each tribulation and trial no matter how insurmountable it may appear has its own expiration date. Therefore, cling to hope and persevere with unwavering faith and determination. Trust that heaven is conspiring in your favor. Your struggles will eventually end. Joy and triumph will be your portion. Do not succumb to despair. Draw strength from God’s promise, 'For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory' (2 Corinthians 4:17). In the end God will carry you through. You will emerge from the toughest of times, victorious and strong. A brighter tomorrow is coming.

Every sunrise is a gentle reminder from God that the past, with all its mistakes, pain, and regrets, is behind us. Just as the sun rises faithfully each morning, so does His mercy, new every day. The darkness of yesterday fades, and a fresh beginning stands before us, full of hope and promise. God’s grace invites us to leave behind what is no longer in our control and step confidently into the light of His plan for us. As you embrace each new day, trust that God is already working things out for your good, guiding you toward a brighter and more purposeful future. “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23).

God is Taking You Into a New Season: Life has its seasonal changes. Sometimes we find ourselves basking in the warmth of summer, where blessings pour down like refreshing rain. Other times, we face the cold and harsh winters of trials, where everything feels cold, lifeless, and stagnant. There are also seasons of loss and rejection, where the winds of change blow things and people away like autumn leaves. But fear not, for spring is coming, bringing new life, new blessings, and new opportunities. Remember, every season has a divine purpose, even the painful ones. Seasons don't last forever; your longest winter will come to an end. Better days are on the horizon, and your struggles will cease. Your financial drought, loneliness, and barrenness will give way to abundance and fulfillment. Prepare yourself today, for even in the midst of tears, joy will come with the morning. Trust in God's timing and plan. For, "weeping may last for a night but joy comes in the morning." (Psalm 30:5)”

"Preserve me, O God, for I take refuge in You. I said to the LORD, “You are my Lord;I have no good besides You.” Psalm 16:1-2

Doubt, uncertainty, and fear can cloud our search for wisdom and knowledge for the next step in our day, in our life. When our relationship with Jesus is current, alive, and growing we have a Light that can clear the cloud from our sight. And sometimes, Jesus gives us His hand to lead us through the cloud. We must walk in faith first, trusting Jesus to bring us, remind us by the power of His Spirit, to the place where we remember ourLord and our God and the many acts of love He has extended to us.

God is our refuge whether it is in the bright sun of a new season of hope in our lives or in the middle of a storm when circumstances seem overwhelming, too heavy to bear. In God we will find all that is good. In the darkest ‘unknown moments’ of our lives, it is God that is the Light that will direct our ways and bring to us that peace that is beyond our understanding.

“Forget what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” Philippians 3:13-14

We could easily spend all my time asking "Why?" We could spend endless hours full of bitterness, fear or sorrow. But then what? What has this accomplished? Isn't faith about trusting God even when things don't go the way we think they should? Isn't it His will for us to let go, trust Him and move on?

Paul said that we see reality as if we were looking through a dark piece of glass. Things don't always make sense. But God does. And the best advice anyone can give you was given by Paul in this passage. There was too much to do, too much grace to live with, too much love of God to celebrate. Why should we spend all our time looking backwards? Instead, Paul forced himself to look ahead. Why? Because if we are going to make it in this life Paul says, "we must hold on to the progress we have already made." Today, hang on to the progress and maturity God has blessed you with. Let go of the past, let it go and press on. Return to joy and live the life God has for you.

Let me encourage you to daily walk the steps of faith. Surrender your troubles to the One who can lift you above them all. Let God's strength fill you and give you peace for He has given His angels charge over you.(Psalm 91:11) Cast all your burdens on the Lord as you were never meant to carry your burdens alone.(Psalm 55:22) No matter what heartache or pain you have now, the peace and joy of Christ can be still be yours if you trust it all to Him.(Romans 15:13) Remember that Christ death and resurrection were part of His plan. He knew that we were hopelessly lost and prisoners of sin. He provided a way that will keep us in peace on this earth and take us through to the glory of heaven forever. Jesus left the grave! He is alive within the hearts of all believers. His power is yours forever! Jesus is a living hope and He will always make a way to help you.

We are never without hope, for the peace that comes from trusting in Jesus as our Lord and Savior will never fail. The truth is In all of life’s difficulties, faith is the key to allowing God to work through your problems. He can make a way through impossible situations and there is no tough circumstance that can hold back the promises of a loving God. The one thing you must remember as you endure hardship is that you can NEVER be defeated. Your victory has been paid in full by the blood of Jesus. The enemy of your soul knows this and will use lies from the pits of hell to convince you that your situation is hopeless. But God is faithful and will help you to understand that He alone is sufficient for all that you need. His love never fails!

Let me encourage you to repeat to yourself. "I will not be shaken." When you feel like things that tend to shake you, or whether you're just going through a really dark time just repeat to yourself, "I will not be shaken." And it's because the LORD is always before you. It's because He is with you. And He will never leave you as a believer. The reality of God caused David to write one the most comforting passages in all of scriptures "I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken." Psalm 16:8. Today you can have that same assurance. Read it, sense it, and believe it in all of its truth Acknowledge the Lord's presence. Spend time with Him and allow Him to guide you throughout this day. He truly is right beside you.
