Yesterday, Solemnity of Corpus Christi was joyfully celebrated at St Anthony of Padua Parish in Lusikisiki.

The celebration was made even more special with the vesting of Amasotshana ka Krestu uKumkani, marking a beautiful commitment of faith and service within the Church community.

The Durban Cluster Youth Ministry concluded its Leadership Workshop held at Mariannhill Monastery by joining the Corpus Christi celebrations together with the St Joseph Cathedral and Monastery community.

The Eucharistic celebration, held on the packed grounds of Mariannhill Monastery, brought together the faithful in prayer, unity and thanksgiving as they celebrated the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ.

The workshop gathered chaplains, coordinators and youth leaders from across the Durban Cluster dioceses, strengthening collaboration and deepening understanding on leadership and safeguarding within youth ministry.

May the spirit of communion and service experienced during the workshop continue to inspire the young people of the Church throughout the Metropolitan.
