He came for His own, but they did not welcome Him. But as many as did receive Him, He gave them authority. What is authority? It means you are able to authorize. If I have authority, I can do whatever I have the power to do. He gave them authority, and the devil can come to tamper with that authority. He gave them the right to become the children of God, to those who believe in Him, who owe their birth. The birth can be owed. You can owe your birth, but you must be aware of where you are owing your birth to.
Who do you owe your birth to? Those who owe their birth neither to blood nor to the will of the flesh, because now this is where patterns are happening. Where patterns are happening, they happen in the blood. That is why they tell you, “You have sugar diabetes. This is what is happening; go check who had it.” You had it because someone had it in your blood, then you accept it. No, I don't owe my birth to blood.
People are suffering with generational curses because they don't understand who they owe their birth to. If you are born again, where do you owe your birth to? He said to those who received Him, who believe in Him, who rely on His name, they don't owe their birth to blood. Not to the Bakoenas, Bafokeng, or the Kubhekas. I don't owe my birth to them. I don't want people who will come and recline here. If you do that, you owe them. If they say that those spirits rise, you owe them because they want a goat.
But if you are a child of God, you don't owe. That's why some people are born again and say, “Let me just do it.” What are you doing? You see how people are falling for generational curses. Those spirits begin to rise when you call them. You don't know them. You rise them, you'll pay because you owe.
Listen, there's no time. Every time you go there, they say you owe. They are not happy; you have to do this and that. After that, is anything changing? They are always crying. Have you ever gone somewhere and they say, “Now they are satisfied. You did what is good”?
No, no, let's understand when we are born again, because some people ask themselves, “Why are these things happening?” Go and check the patterns. You owe your birth not to blood, because if you are sick and you go to the clinic, they will ask you, “Who had it? Someone in the family?” They are sure because they know. We don't owe our birth to blood.
The problem is, if I give you such information, the devil is not happy because he doesn't want you to be aware. Because some people who are born again, that you know are born again, then you see them going out of the way and doing certain things. It's because they went out of the way; now they owe their birth. But when you come to Jesus, it's freedom. He bought us with a price. We were bought with a price—His blood—so that we don't owe our birth to any blood.
Because some people suffer and say, “We are born again,” but they suffer. Do you believe that? “I'm a child of God. I don't owe my birth to blood. I'm a son of God.” The problem is, if you believe this and accept it, you must declare it: “I'm a child of God.” Some people don't want to make a declaration. You have to speak. You are quiet and you don't speak it. You get out of the dream, you dreamt this and that, and say, “I'm a child of God. I'm purchased by His blood. I'm the righteousness of God. I don't owe my birth to any blood.” Some people are in a pattern.
No altar in my family can come. I don't bow to any altar but to Christ. Do you know there are such things happening? And when you do them, you are bowing to the altar; you are a sharer and a partaker. But when you are born again, know yourself. Because people who are not born again, they don't bow down to your God. Anything that is happening in the family, check the patterns, because Satan uses devices.
You don't owe your birth to the will of man, that of your natural father. So, natural father, I don't owe my birth to you, because a natural father can be a womanizer, and I inherit that spirit. But if I'm born again, I don't owe my birth to that. Some say, “Should I desert my father?” No, I'm not saying desert your father. I'm talking about the matters of the spirit. You don't agree with the gods of the family, and you don't accept even the spirit of poverty. We don't accept that. We accept Christ, and you say, “Christ, bless me.”
Some of the things we have to be aware of do happen in your life. When they happen, check: it's a pattern. And not accepting them in your family—they will see you prospering, God blessing you, and they will say, “Now we want your God. We have been bowing down to gods; now we want yours.” You cannot be in that family and agree to God. Every spirit must bow.
Where Dagon is and where there is the Ark, meaning the presence of God. Dagon must bow. Every spirit in my family must bow. It cannot continue while I have accepted Christ. I'm going to enter into the spirit. “You spirit, you are in trouble. I'm going to pray until you bow.”
I'm not going to bow to any altar in my family. When they look at you, they are going to ask, “What happened? Let us follow this God.” You are there as light in that family. Darkness and light don't meet. When the light comes, darkness disappears. We are talking about true light. We are not talking about people who hide their light, but those who are proud to have the light. In the family, do not hiding it. You can be the light and hide it. Today you'll understand. You will know the truth, and it will set you free.
Many people have paid, thinking about their lives, but here Jesus is here free of charge. Some people God bless them, and they take the blessings of God to the bloods. If it is God, you must come and say, “Father, I thank You.” In my life, it has been God. Everything I passed through, it has been God, because I refused. I said to my unborn children, “The way is the way of God.” Everything you do is a teaching to your unborn generation. Those who are not yet married, be aware of what you are doing, because whatever you do is generational. It's serious. Whatever you do, you are carrying a generation, a nation, in you, and you are already training them.
You must refuse such and say, “Not with me and my children. It ends here.” You're born again. Can you identify the trends? Others don't enjoy their firstborn; they miscarry. So today, let us identify such things and deal with them. Not with this generation. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength, so I don't owe my birth to any blood.
You don't know the devil. We are not unaware of his schemes. We are fully aware because some people accept them. They say, “This is my natural father.” But if you see this is not good, will you accept it? You can't bow. Not with your family, not with your generation. They will serve God. That's why Joshua said, “As for me and my family, we will serve God.” So you must choose. Where do you owe your birth to? To God. I owe my birth to God, not to any blood.
Jesus was born, and He understood they were looking for Him. When they found Him at the age of 12, He told His father and mother, “Don't you know that I'm in My Father's business?” I have to do the will of the One who sends Me. Understand the purpose why you are here. Understand the purpose why you serve God. Let no one tamper with your salvation.
