We have been so bad at taking photos on Sundays so we handed the camera over to Boaz this week. This is Sunday before the service through the eyes of Boaz. ❤️ We had such a beautiful time worshipping the King of Kings together! 🙌🏼

Over the last two years in Kids Church, we’ve been working our way through the Bible, helping our children see that every story ultimately points to Jesus and the gospel.

Last week we learned about Peter being rescued from prison in Acts 12. The children used invisible ink and UV lights to create secret messages. At first, the paper looked completely blank - as if nothing was there. But when the light shone on it, the hidden message was revealed.

It reminded us that sometimes when we pray, it can feel like nothing is happening. Peter was still in prison. The church was still waiting. But God was already at work.

We learned that God calls His people to pray, that He hears our prayers, and that He is the One who rescues. Most importantly, Peter’s rescue points us to an even greater rescue - Jesus rescuing us from sin, death, and Satan through His death and resurrection.

We are looking forward to church tomorrow! Hope to see you there! ☀️
