God's Good Plans for You

Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Life rarely goes the way we imagine it will. Seasons of delay, disappointment, and unanswered questions can leave us wondering what God is really up to. But Jeremiah 29:11 reassures us that God has never lost sight of us — and what He intends for us is good.

This word was first given to Israel in exile. Their circumstances were far from ideal, yet God made it clear: captivity was not their final chapter. He had already prepared a future and a hope for them. The same holds true for you — what you're facing right now is not the final word on your life. God's promises are.

God thinks in terms far larger than we do. We often want quick answers; He is building something eternal. Every setback, every hard season, every breakthrough is being woven together under His hand for a purpose that serves your good.

Choose to trust Him even when the picture isn't clear. The One who mapped out your future long before you drew breath will not abandon what He started. Stay faithful, stay obedient to His Word, and keep expecting His goodness to show up in your life.

Prayer

Father, I thank You that Your intentions toward me are good. Teach me to trust You even in what I don't understand. Fill me with hope and steady my faith as I walk out Your purpose for my life. I believe my future is secure in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Confession

I declare that God's plans for my life are good. My future is full of hope because I belong to Jesus Christ. I refuse fear and discouragement, for the Lord is ordering my steps. Every word He has spoken over my life will come to pass in His perfect timing. Amen.

The Report of the Lord – New Wineskin

Isaiah 53:1 (NKJV)
"Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?"

Many voices compete for our attention every day. The world has its report. Fear has its report. Circumstances have their report. The enemy has his report. But God asks a powerful question: "Who has believed our report?"

The report you believe will determine the life you live. If you believe the report of fear, you will live in anxiety. If you believe the report of lack, you will live with a poverty mindset. But when you believe God's report, you position yourself to experience His power.

Isaiah connects believing God's report with the revealing of the arm of the Lord—a symbol of God's mighty power and intervention. Faith is the doorway through which we experience God's supernatural working. God's power is not limited, but unbelief can prevent us from walking in what He has already provided.

The greatest report God has ever given is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through His death and resurrection, we have forgiveness, healing, righteousness, victory, and eternal life. Regardless of what your current situation says, choose to believe God's report above every other report.

Today, silence every voice that contradicts God's Word. Fill your heart with Scripture until God's report becomes your reality.

Prayer
Father, thank You that Your Word is true and Your promises never fail. I choose to believe Your report above every negative circumstance and every lie of the enemy. Reveal Your mighty arm in every area of my life as I walk by faith. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Confession
I believe the report of the Lord. I walk by faith and not by sight. God's Word is my final authority. His power is at work in me. I am healed, blessed, victorious, and more than a conqueror through Christ. Every promise of God is "Yes" and "Amen" in my life. Amen.

Speaking the Word – New Wineskin

Romans 10:8 (NKJV)
"But what does it say? 'The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart' (that is, the word of faith which we preach)."

One of the greatest privileges God has given every believer is the ability to speak His Word. The Christian life is not only about reading Scripture but also declaring it in faith. Throughout the Bible, God demonstrates the power of spoken words. He created the world by speaking (Genesis 1), Jesus defeated Satan by declaring, "It is written" (Matthew 4:4), and we are called to fill our mouths with God's promises.

Your words reveal what fills your heart. When the Word of God dwells richly within you, faith begins to speak instead of fear. Instead of declaring defeat, you proclaim victory. Instead of speaking lack, you declare God's provision. Instead of agreeing with sickness, you confess His healing. God's Word carries His authority, and when we speak it in faith, we align ourselves with His will.

Joshua was instructed to keep the Book of the Law in his mouth day and night (Joshua 1:8). Speaking God's Word strengthens our faith, renews our minds, and reminds us of His promises. As you continually confess the Scriptures, your thoughts, attitudes, and actions begin to reflect the Kingdom of God.

Today, choose to let God's Word be the language of your life. Refuse to speak words of doubt, fear, or unbelief. Fill your mouth with the promises of God, knowing that His Word never returns void but accomplishes the purpose for which He sent it.

Confession

Today I choose to speak the Word of God. My mouth is filled with faith, hope, and life. I declare that I am who God says I am, I have what God says I have, and I can do what God says I can do. The Word of God is alive in my heart and on my lips. As I speak His promises, I walk in victory, wisdom, healing, provision, and divine favour. My words agree with heaven, and I will see God's purposes fulfilled in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Forgive as You Have Been Forgiven – New Wineskin

Ephesians 4:32 (NKJV)
"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."

Forgiveness is one of the clearest marks of a heart that has been transformed by Christ. It is not about pretending that the pain never happened or saying that what was done was acceptable. Forgiveness is choosing to release the debt and entrust justice to God.

When Jesus forgave us, He did not wait for us to deserve it. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). In the same way, God calls us to forgive others—not because they have earned it, but because we have freely received His mercy.

Unforgiveness is a heavy burden. It robs us of peace, hinders our prayers, and keeps old wounds alive. Forgiveness, however, brings freedom. It allows God's healing to flow into our hearts and keeps us walking in love rather than bitterness.

Jesus taught His disciples that if we forgive others, our heavenly Father also forgives us (Matthew 6:14–15). This reminds us that forgiveness is not optional for the believer—it is part of living in the grace we have received.

Today, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anyone you need to forgive. Release them into God's hands and choose freedom over resentment. As you forgive, you make room for God's peace, healing, and joy to fill your heart.

Prayer

Father, thank You for forgiving me through Jesus Christ. Help me to forgive those who have hurt me, just as You have forgiven me. Remove every root of bitterness, anger, and offence from my heart. Fill me with Your love and grace so that I may reflect Christ in every relationship. I choose to walk in forgiveness today, trusting You with every injustice. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Focus on Jesus – New Wineskin

Hebrews 12:2 (NKJV)
"Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith..."

In a world filled with distractions, God's call is simple: stay focused on Jesus. Every day there are voices competing for our attention—fear, worry, success, social media, the opinions of people, and the pressures of life. But the believer who keeps his eyes on Christ will walk in peace and purpose.

When Peter stepped out of the boat, he walked on water as long as his focus remained on Jesus. The moment he looked at the wind and the waves, he began to sink (Matthew 14:29–30). The lesson is clear: what we focus on will determine whether we walk in faith or fall into fear.

The enemy's strategy is often distraction rather than destruction. If he can shift your attention away from God's promises, he can weaken your faith. But when your heart is fixed on the Lord, you remain steady even in the middle of life's storms.

The Apostle Paul also declared, "This one thing I do... forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead" (Philippians 3:13–14). A focused believer does not live in yesterday's failures or yesterday's victories. He presses forward toward God's calling.

Today, choose to fix your eyes on Jesus. Don't allow temporary circumstances to determine your direction. Stay focused on His Word, His voice, and His purpose. God will guide your steps and complete the work He has begun in you.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me to keep my eyes on Jesus. Help me to remove every distraction that pulls me away from Your will. Strengthen my faith to trust You in every season and to remain focused on Your promises. Lead me by Your Spirit, and let my life bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Building the Work of God – New Wineskin

Psalm 127:1 (NKJV)
"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain."

God's work can never be accomplished by human strength alone. We may have gifted leaders, dedicated volunteers, good strategies, and sufficient resources, but if the Lord is not the One directing and empowering the work, our efforts will not produce lasting fruit. Psalm 127 reminds us that God is the Master Builder. We are only His co-workers.

Whether we are building a church, a ministry, a family, or a life that honours Christ, we must begin on our knees before we begin with our hands. Every successful work of God is founded on prayer, obedience, and complete dependence on the Holy Spirit. Jesus Himself declared, "Without Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5).

The kingdom of God is not built by human ambition but by surrendered hearts. Moses built according to God's pattern. Nehemiah rebuilt Jerusalem through prayer and perseverance. The early church grew because the believers devoted themselves to prayer, the Word, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

As we build the work of God, let us refuse to rely on our own wisdom. Let every plan be submitted to Him. Let every decision be guided by His Word. What God builds will stand through every storm, and what He establishes no one can destroy.

Today, ask yourself: Is God building through me, or am I asking Him to bless what I have already decided to build?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me to be a fellow worker in Your Kingdom. I surrender every plan, dream, and ministry into Your hands. Build Your work through me according to Your will. Keep me humble, dependent on Your Spirit, and faithful to Your Word. May everything I build bring glory to Jesus and bear fruit that remains. Strengthen Your Church and establish the work of our hands for Your Kingdom. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

The Secret Place of Prayer – New Wineskin

Mark 1:35 (NKJV)
"Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed."

Jesus, the Son of God, made prayer a priority. Before the crowds gathered, before miracles were performed, and before the demands of ministry began, He withdrew to a solitary place to spend time with His Father. If Jesus needed the secret place of prayer, how much more do we?

Prayer is not simply a religious duty—it is where strength is renewed, wisdom is received, and our hearts are aligned with the will of God. The victories we see in public are often born in the private place of prayer.

David understood this truth when he declared:

Psalm 5:3 (NKJV)
"My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up."

The morning is a powerful time to seek God. Before the distractions of the day compete for our attention, we can present ourselves before the Lord, committing our plans, our families, and our future into His hands. Those who begin the day with God walk through the day with His peace and direction.

Jesus also taught us not to lose heart in prayer.

Luke 18:1 (NKJV)
"Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart."

Persistent prayer is the language of faith. Even when answers seem delayed, heaven is at work. Every prayer offered in faith moves the hand of God. Do not become discouraged because you cannot yet see the answer. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep standing.

The God who hears prayer is also the God who delivers His people. He is able to remove every obstacle and every barrier standing in your way.

Psalm 107:16 (NKJV)
"For He has broken the gates of bronze, And cut the bars of iron in two."

Whatever has held you back—fear, opposition, bo***ge, lack, or impossibility—God is able to break it. The power released through persistent prayer can accomplish what human strength never could. As you continue to seek Him in the secret place, expect Him to open doors no one can shut and to break every gate of iron before you.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of coming into Your presence. Teach me to seek You early and to make prayer my first priority. Help me never to grow weary or lose heart, but to persevere in faith until I see Your promises fulfilled. Break every gate of iron standing before me, remove every obstacle, and lead me into the victory You have prepared for me. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

As a newly relaunched ministry, this will be our very first Women's Month celebration, and we are embracing it wholeheartedly.

The Lord has been gracious to bless us with women after His own heart—mothers, daughters, sisters, and leaders who genuinely love Him. They faithfully pray for the work of the Kingdom, serve with humility, and generously support the ministry with their time, talents, and resources.

Now Are You Children of God – New Wineskin

1 John 3:2 (NKJV)
"Beloved, now we are children of God..."

Our identity as believers is not rooted in our past, our failures, or the opinions of others. God declares a greater truth: now we are His children. We are no longer strangers or orphans, but sons and daughters of the Most High God.

In Christ, God has raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). We live from a position of victory, authority, and acceptance—not striving to earn God's love, but resting in the finished work of Christ.

The Word also reminds us that we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people (1 Peter 2:9). We have been called out of darkness to reflect His marvelous light and proclaim His praises to the world.

Today, walk confidently in your true identity. You are a child of God, seated with Christ, chosen by grace, and called to live for His glory.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You that I am Your child. Help me to walk each day in the confidence of who I am in Christ. Let my life reflect Your love, Your holiness, and Your light wherever I go. In Jesus' name, Amen.

A Cloud the Size of a Man's Hand – New Wineskin

1 Kings 18:44 (NKJV)
"Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, 'There is a cloud, as small as a man's hand, rising out of the sea!' So he said, 'Go up, say to Ahab, "Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you."'

After three and a half years of drought, Elijah stood on Mount Carmel with unwavering faith. Although God had promised rain, the skies remained empty. Yet Elijah did not stop praying. He sent his servant seven times to look toward the sea. Six times the report was the same: "There is nothing." But on the seventh time, the servant returned with a different report: "I see a cloud as small as a man's hand."

To many, such a small cloud would have seemed insignificant. To Elijah, it was all the evidence he needed. He recognized that every great move of God often begins with a small sign. Soon after, the heavens grew black with clouds, the wind arose, and a great rain fell.

Perhaps today all you can see is a "small cloud." It may be a new opportunity, a restored relationship, a small financial breakthrough, a growing hunger for God, or the first answer to a long-awaited prayer. Do not despise small beginnings. The God who sends the small cloud is the same God who sends the abundant rain.

Keep praying even when you see nothing. Keep believing when circumstances have not yet changed. Your persistence in prayer positions you to recognize God's first sign of breakthrough. What starts small in God's hands will become more than enough in His perfect timing.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that You are always faithful to Your promises. Give me the faith to keep praying when I see no evidence, and the wisdom to recognize the small beginnings of Your blessings. Help me not to despise the day of small things but to trust that You are preparing an abundant outpouring in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
