Good morning to you all. I woke up this morning with a very heavy heart. A sadness that i couldnt explain seemed to come from somewhere deep inside of me. It is still with me. I feel like i just want to cry and i cannot shake this overwhelming feeling. I know that this is spiritual. I am feeling what the Spirit World, what God is feeling today. Our salvation, amazing as it may be was dependant on the excruciating, horrific and torturous death of Jesus Christ. Gods only Son and the Apple of his eye. The Angels must have watched in absolute horror at the pain, suffering and humiliation that He endured. How was it possible that the Lord of Glory could be subjected to such barbaric treatment by the very creation that He so loved?? How could this be? Yes, it was all part of a much bigger plan by God to benefit mankind. But it does not negate the absolute horror of the crucifiction and the events that lead up to it. What would one day bring the Glory of salvation to the lost started as inexplicable pain, heartache and sorrow for God and his only Son.

Easter is important. To forget the sacrifice that Jesus made for us, to forget His pain and sorrow is just ridiculous. This Easter God wants you to remember. To honor his sacrafice. To understand the price that was paid. Spend time with your families, give thanks to God. Be a blessing to one another as He is a blessing to us. But above all, understand that God gave his Son over to be executed by His very creation and Jesus accepted and embraced this horrific death for only one reason. Because you matter! Because God cares!
Because he loves you!

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
