🇿🇦 HAPPY WOMEN’S DAY🌸 WCZ

Today, we honour and remember the courageous women who marched to the Union Buildings in 1956, standing together against injustice and declaring that their voices mattered.

Their courage reminds us that young people today also have a responsibility to stand for what is right, and to make a difference in our communities.

As young people of faith, may we be inspired by their strength and courage, and may God give us the wisdom, compassion and boldness to be a generation that brings hope, stands for truth, and lifts others up.

Today we celebrate the women who came before us, the women among us, and the young women who will shape the future.

💙As we celebrate the New Moon (Thwaso), we are reminded that it is an opportunity to draw closer to God. It is a time to reflect, renew our faith, and trust Him to lead us through the days ahead.

Today's scripture from John 15:1–7 reminded us that Jesus is the True Vine, and we are the branches. When we remain connected to Him, our lives bear fruit, and He gives us the strength, wisdom, and peace we need for every season.

May this new month be filled with God's grace.
