*Sub-Topic: Partnering with God Through Working Budget*
*Text: 2 Corinthians 9:6-8*
The Word of God tells us that _“whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”_
The way you sow is the same way you are going to reap.
*What is Giving?*
Giving is an act of worship, obedience, and partnering with God.
Giving goes beyond putting money in a basket.
It is an act of faith.
You give believing in His promises, His power, and believing that He is the giver of everything.
As you are giving, know that you are worshipping.
It’s not only giving to the ministry — we are talking about giving to the work of God.
If you are a giver, you can give everywhere.
If you have the grace of giving, you support the work of God.
As you are working on the budget, you are advancing the Kingdom of God.
If you don’t give, you are going against the advancement of the Kingdom.
Through the budget we are supporting our pastors.
It is biblical to support our pastors.
This time we want to send our pastors to conferences to be refreshed, taught, and equipped.
As you work the budget, we enable evangelism.
You make God’s work to progress.
When God’s work progresses, it is us who benefit.
God opens doors to those partnering with Him.
When you work and give toward the budget, God opens doors for you.
*John 3:16*
We give because we are following the example of God.
We give because God gave.
When we give, we must reflect God’s generosity.
As we come to give, purpose in your heart to give the best.
God is our example — He gave us His best and His only One.
God did not withhold, He gave His best.
When we become givers, we become more like our Heavenly Father.
God’s giving opened doors for us to become children of God.
Giving will open doors for us.
*Philippians 4:15-19*
Giving is partnership with God.
The church of Philippi supported the ministry of Paul.
He saw it and acknowledged it.
After that, a door was opened.
The Bible says _“God will supply all your needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus.”_
I imagine that God is the owner of silver and gold.
I also imagine God’s glory that opens doors.
Paul knew his church.
I have a deep desire that God will allow us to provoke the men of this city to declare a blessing.
We are going through a lot.
We need to do something to provoke the man of God of this church.
We have a burden to provoke the God of this church.
Today we want to give a giving that will provoke the servants of God in the city to call upon His God.
The promises were not given to everyone, but were given to those who supported Paul.
To those who support God’s work, God opens doors.
We are not buying blessings, but we are provoking God.
*1 Timothy 5:17-18*
Our pastors have left their work to work in the ministry, so they need our support.
As they are supporting us spiritually, we support them financially.
When Moses was supported, they won the war.
When Paul was supported, churches were opened.
As we support our pastors, the work of God will go far.
*Mark 12:41-44*
As you give, do not look down upon your gift.
This kind of giving that opens doors does not look at what you give, but where you are taking it from.
The One you give to sees.
If you are giving your change, He sees.
Today I want us to trust in God.
God does not measure the size of the gift, but He measures the sacrifice behind the gift.
*2 Corinthians 8:1-5*
The Macedonian church was in severe trials, yet they asked for an opportunity to give.
We know we are facing a lot of trials, but let’s take this opportunity to give.
Let’s be like the Macedonian church.
If we wait until we have enough, we will never give.
Our father built this ministry through faith and sacrifice.
He always said, _“Reserve something for God’s work. Do not consume everything.”_
Your giving is your seed.
God’s work must not suffer while we still have people to give.
In our giving we cannot out-give God.
Today we are enjoying this church because someone sacrificed.
*Luke 6:38*
_“Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.”_
As we give, we are supporting the ministry.
*Matthew 6:19-21*
As you give, you will have a burden.
When you give, you want things to go well.
Youth, don’t wait to have jobs.
Let’s start now.
If you haven’t started, have a burden and start.
Ask yourself: _What sacrifice can I give to this God?_
Can I reduce unnecessary spending to support the work of God?
Can I be a consistent giver and not wait?
God is not looking for equal amounts, but equal commitment.
We are saying *100% participation*.
We have an opportunity:
1. To care for those who care for us
2. To partner with the work of God
*Giving Opens Doors* for peace, provision, and progress.
God entrusts great things to those who support the Kingdom of God.
Be that church that has the burden to support the work of God.
As we support this church financially, the God of this church will support our needs according to His riches and glory.
