Hebrews 9:1-10

You can be sitting in church but have your heart unchanged. You can partake in the worship, but still not be saved. The only way for sinners to be reconciled to God is through the blood of Christ. The sacrifice has been offered, the debt has been paid, the way is open. Draw near to God through the blood of Jesus Christ. Come.

Jesus is our Priest, guaranteed by God's oath, permanent and unchangeable, perfect and holy. Believer, rest in the relational standing you have with God that is based on Christ's Priesthood, that is secure and sure. That is independent of your performance. Come to God through Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Jesus is our Priest forever! His priesthood is superior, permanent and a better hope than the Old Testament sacrifices and rituals.

We can draw near to God in confidence because Jesus made it possible and secures our eternal salvation.

Where is your hope today? Who are you trusting in? In your own efforts or in the finished work of Jesus Christ?
