Today we celebrated Fathers Day; the day we honour those men who fulfill the role of father and father figures in our homes, church and the community. Sis Edwillene Robertson led the service (done by the children) and we were blessed by song and dance, especially the Daddy and Daugher Dance! Rev Debbie Bruce preached the Word from Genesis 18 v 19 with the theme: "Can God trust you with a family?". She reminded us that a father who God can trust leads spiritually, he lives what he teaches, he disciplines in love, he protects his family, he loves his wife, and he remains committed till the end! May we be men (and women) whom God can be proud of!

This month we celebrate an incredible milestone—20 years of impact, love, grace, and service in our community.

What began as a vision has grown into a beacon of hope and transformation for so many. We give special thanks to Pastor Debbie Bruce, whose God-given vision, passion, and dedication laid the foundation for this remarkable journey. Your unwavering commitment has touched countless lives and left a lasting legacy.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Management Team and every staff member, past and present, whose faithful service, hard work, and compassion have made this ministry what it is today. Your commitment to serving others with excellence and love has made a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout our community.

As we celebrate two decades of impact, we thank God for His faithfulness and look forward with anticipation to all that lies ahead.

Rev William Bruce, we are extremely proud of you!

Conville Aquatics is a swimming club focused on teaching kids in our community to swim, and lessen drowings in our areas. A Learn to Swim coach was needed who would be willing to do it free of charge, as it is a service to the community.

Our very own Rev William Bruce took on the challenge, at the age of 70, to continue doing his part for our children! And today, HE DID IT!!!

Pastor, thank you for showing us what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus, both inside and outside the church walls. Thank you for showing us that age doesn't stop our dreams! Thank you for being a Pastor to all, evangelising in all ways possible!

We are extremely proud! All honour to God!

Today we had another blessed service in the House of the Lord. Rev Debbie Bruce led the service. Pastor Nkosinathi from Heartlines preached from Proverbs 9 v 9 and Proverbs 12 v 1 with the theme: "Embracing the gift of a Teachable Spirit". He reminded us that we never know everything. We must be humble and have a heart that is willing to learn and to grow.

Yesterday we focused on missions with the team from Scripture Union as our host. Our mission is to introduce young people to Jesus, the Bible, and the church. The service was led by Sister Eldolene Bergman. Pastor Keenan Farquhar, who serves as the Scripture Union Regional Director, reminded us in the story of the Euthopian Eunich - how will they know if nobody tells them? That's our mission - go tell them.....our communities, our schools, our families need Jesus!
