Prayer was never meant to remain an occasional activity, it was designed to lead us into abiding relationship with God.

“Ask” teaches dependence.
“Seek” teaches pursuit.
“Knock” develops persistence.
“Decree” reveals authority.

But “Abide” becomes the environment where the believer lives continually connected to Christ.

A branch does not struggle to bear fruit when it remains connected to the vine. In the same way, spiritual growth, strength, and fruitfulness flow naturally from abiding in God’s presence.

Many believers know how to visit God in emergencies, but God desires sons and daughters who will dwell with Him daily.

Prayer begins with words, but matures into communion.

“Abide in Me, and I in you.” John 15:4

The Word Of A King Is Powerful

As you begin to read this message, remember you've been made kings and priests.

Ecclesiastes 8:4 NKJV
Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him, “What are you doing?”

The bible says, a word that comes out of the mouth of a King/Queen carries power.

One of the reason you have to be born again, you needed to be born into a royal family because Kings and Queens are not appointed, they are born into kingship.

Never doubt the power of your words, they surpasses the power of the Kingdom of darkness.

The bible addresses Satan as a "Prince", meaning his not even a king, he wishes to be a king but that's now a wishful thinking. He shall never ascend for Jesus has ascended to the highest heavens.

Our words conquers that of the devil and his agency because we speak from the highest throne, we are not prince and princess, we are Kings and Queens.
The devil has no match for Kings and Queens. Through Christ Jesus, your words regarding your future are final. Contestation is close to none.

Hence you cannot curse what the King has blessed.

Kings and Queens, use your words wisely.

Four Dimensions of Prayer

Matthew 7:7 NKJV
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

* Prayer of Asking

This kind of prayer is for the young in faith, they think asking God for things shows humility. This type of Christians, they always expect God to do everything for them. When things don't go their way, they throw tantrums like a child. Most of the time, their asking is off God’s will.

* Prayer of Seeking

This prayer is based on the revelation you have about God. You can only seriously search for what you know belongs to you, and this is based on your knowledge of the word of God. You search until you find what rightfully belongs to you. Jacob knew the blessings that God had for him, hence he was not willing let go without God blessing him.

* Prayer of Knocking

This prayer is based on persistence. You don't stop knocking on a certain door until you see the results. Your faith is fully developed and hope is your second nature. Elijah prayed 7 times until a small cloud appears. This kind of prayer, doesn't get influenced by your surroundings, it's driven by results.

* Decreeing and Declaration (The God Language)

Job 22:28 NKJV
You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.

Decreeing is a command from a place of authority and to declare, is to state a fact (out loud) regarding a situation.

This form of prayer, you do not direct it to God, you speak directly to creation with an understanding that God has restored you through His Son Jesus Christ to His own image.

It a language of Kings and Queens, you speak regarding a situation as a King and from a place of authority.

The bible says:

Lamentations 3:37 NIV
Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it?

The last time I checked, God is a Lord of lords. He didn't create beggars, He created His replicas.
We don't wait to go down on our knees, we speak right there and there and heavens and earth responds. This kind of prayer, you begin to speak to things as if it's God speaking. You are now aware that creation has a mandate to pay attention when you speak.

Begin speaking things into existence from a place of authority.

A Disciple vs A Churchgoer

A disciple is a dedicated follower, student, or adherent of a teacher, leader, often involving a commitment to adopting that person’s teachings and lifestyle.
Based on on what a disciple is we can all agree that all disciples are believers but not all believers are disciples.

Matthew 28:19 NLT
[19] Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Example
The Fan vs The Player

Imagine someone who supports a team like Kaizer Chiefs:
They wear the jersey, they know the players, they watch every match but when the team starts losing… they disappear.That’s a fan.
Now think of a player:
They train in the rain, they show up when it’s hard, they stay committed no matter what. That’s a player.

In the same way many people are fans of Jesus but not everyone is a disciple of Jesus.
Some:

Come to church
Know the songs
Even know scriptures
But when things get difficult… they step back.

So what is the difference between Disciple and Believer?

1: A Believer receives, A Disciple follows
(Luke 9:23)
Following Jesus is a daily decision not a once off

2: A Believer knows the word, A Disciple lives the Word.
A believer hears, a disciple applies (James 1:22)
Growth comes from doing not just hearing

3: A Believer is comfortable, A Disciple is committed.
A believer stays when it's easy, a disciple stays when it's hard. (John 6:66)
Commitment is proven in difficult times.

4: A Believer is part-time, A Disciple is fully surrendered.
A believer fits God into their life while a disciple gives God their whole life. (Romans 12:1)

5: Disciples produces fruits

God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth.

I hear they say "Have nothing to do with the world".

In fact, God has given us the whole earth to inherit. The key to inheriting the riches of this world, it is to stay "Humble".

Be still when God blesses you, Be still when your career and business starts shaping up.

Heavens are for the Lord, Earth is part of the Will Jesus left us.

Be prosperous, Earth awaits your command.

Hebrews 9:16-17 NLT
[16] Now when someone leaves a will, it is necessary to prove that the person who made it is dead. [17] The will goes into effect only after the person’s death. While the person who made it is still alive, the will cannot be put into effect.

You may ask yourself why did God chose the route of dying on the cross? We would have not been able to inherit our Father’s blessings, there was a need of providing a death certificate for the "WILL" to be put in effect.

You cannot inherit the will of a person who was never been declared dead.

* What's in the Will?

Revelation 5:12 NLT
[12] And they sang in a mighty chorus: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered— to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.”

As co-inheritors with Christ, we share power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessings in this lifetime and age to come.

Don't allow your revelation of the Cross only end on forgiveness sin. The cross was the beginning of the unlocking of the inheritance which God prepared for us before the creation.

Don't be too obsessed about talking about sin, you'll miss what God has done through the cross. Too much of something is also not good.

Your name is in Jesus's WILL. His inheritance is yours, beginning to Confess it and living it.
