🔥 SERMON STUDY NOTES: THE REVELATION OF EDEN
Speaker: Apostle N.W. Hadebe
Topic: The Revelation of Eden: Gates, Glory, & The Kingdom
🏛️ 1. The Peril of Spiritual Ignorance & True Worship
Destruction Through Lack of Knowledge (Hosea 4:6): The Apostle opens the service by reminding us of the painful truth that God’s people are destroyed due to a profound lack of knowledge. The tragedy is not that knowledge is unavailable, but rather that when divine revelation is presented, people routinely reject it and cast it aside over and over again.
Worshipping What You Do Not Know: He issues a stern warning, referencing Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman where Jesus stated, "You worship what you do not know." It is a dangerous spiritual state to claim you worship God yet have no intimate revelation of who He is, how He operates, or what He is saying when you communicate with Him.
Rejecting False Imagery: Believers are strongly challenged to dismantle physical, Europeanized images of a blue-eyed, blonde-haired Jesus commonly hung on household walls. Such imagery is an external deception born out of historical oppression. Before this year ends, the church must throw away these idols because we are called to worship the living God in spirit and in truth.
⏳ 2. The Architecture of the 7 Dispensations
The entire biblical text from Genesis to Revelation is structurally cataloged into seven distinct timelines or "Dispensations" through which God administers His relationship with humanity and creation:
The Dispensation of Innocence: The initial state of pure alignment where Adam and Eve lived completely free from sin inside the Garden of Eden.
The Dispensation of Consciousness: The timeline where God used the internal moral compass of human conscience to govern actions and communicate right from wrong.
The Dispensation of Human Government: Commencing prominently with figures like Ni**od, marking the rise of human-led empires and, subsequently, the widespread infiltration of idolatry.
The Dispensation of Promise: The covenantal timeline tracking through the ancestral accounts and divine promises found within the Book of Genesis (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob).
The Dispensation of the Law: The institutionalization of divine commandments handed down through Moses on Mount Sinai.
The Dispensation of Grace: The current, exceptionally extended period of unmerited favor initiated and opened fully by the earthly manifest and voice of Jesus Christ.
The Divine Age of Eternity (The Millennial Reign to Forever): The culminating prophetic era wherein the church breaks out of temporal earthly history and steps fully into the eternal Kingdom of God through the Rapture.
🌌 3. The True Identity and Purpose of Eden
The Pre-Adamic Existence of Eden: According to the prophetic records in Ezekiel, Eden existed long before Adam was formed from the dust. This means Eden is an eternal spiritual construct established in the heavens that cannot be annihilated or dissolved by earthly disruptions.
Lucifer as the Original Inhabitant: Lucifer was the original spiritual entity assigned to dwell within the pristine glory of Eden long before human creation. Science speaks of an earth that is billions of years old, and they are correct—because the biblical records from Moses focus strictly on the 6,000-year history of human creation and restoration, omitting the vast pre-fall ages when Lucifer occupied the realm.
Eden as the Earth's Portal (The Gate): Eden functioned primarily as a legal spiritual gate connecting the heavenly realms directly to the physical earth. Because it was a legal gateway, any spirit seeking expression on earth had to pass through an authorized entry point. Even Jesus, as God, could not legally manifest on earth without using the designated human womb of Mary, ensuring His entry violated no spiritual laws and that He did not come as a thief or an intruder.
The Purpose of the Garden Inside Eden: Scripture notes that God specifically planted a localized garden inside the wider territory of Eden. This served four core divine purposes for man:
Protection: To create a secured, buffered environment to insulate and protect the newly formed human life.
Isolation of the Sin Virus: Sin was originally confined like a localized virus to a single tree. It was harmless while contained there; it only became a global pandemic when it crossed the threshold into the human body and mind.
Divine Provision: To ensure that all of man's survival needs were fully provided for before he was even created. Adam arrived to find everything completed—food and fruit were abundant, and he had no need to struggle or search for provision outside.
Spiritual Fellowship: To facilitate daily intimate encounters with God during the cool of the day, allowing God to continuously imprint His character, identity, and authority onto Adam.
🛑 4. Internal Deception and Spiritual Death
Deception Inside the House of God: The Apostle warns intensely against the sophisticated deception operating directly within the modern church. Referencing Paul's warning in 2 Corinthians 11, just as the serpent deceived Eve through subtlety, modern systems preach "another Jesus" and "another gospel." This includes false prophets who commodify the gospel and predators who break the lives of young people under the guise of ministry.
The Reality of Spiritual Death: The moment Adam disobeyed God's command in Genesis 2:17, he died immediately. This was not a sudden physical expiration, but a catastrophic spiritual death—the complete disconnection of the human spirit from the life-source of God.
The Tragic Consequence of Disconnection: When a person is spiritually dead on the inside, their physical life rapidly decays into moral chaos. This internal void explains societal breakdowns, such as older men with wedding rings preying on 15 and 16-year-old children, and young people destroying their destinies prematurely because their spirits are dead to the fear of God.
👑 5. What Humanity Lost During the Fall
Through the original transgression, mankind suffered a devastating multi-layered spiritual bankruptcy, forfeiting five essential components of their divine inheritance:
The Presence of God: The immediate loss of face-to-face communion and direct relationship with the Creator.
True Self-Identity: Man lost the correct, mirror-image understanding of who he was originally created to be before God.
The Divine Glory (Inkazimulo): The radiant, protective garment of God's tangible glory was stripped away.
Physical Immortality: The human body lost its perpetual renewal system, causing it to break down and legally return to the dust of the earth (Genesis 3:19).
The Kingdom and Dominion: According to Genesis 1:26, man was given total dominion over the fish, birds, water, and land. When man fell, he legally signed this kingdom over to Satan. This is why Satan could confidently offer the kingdoms of the world to Jesus during the temptation, declaring that they had been delivered unto him by man.
🩸 6. The Cosmic Courtroom, Jesus' Sacrifice, and the Erasure of the Past
The Seed of the Woman: The solution to the wreckage of Eden was not sought in animals, human bloodlines, or physical trees, but was declared through the prophetic seed of the woman that would crush the head of the serpent (Genesis 3:15). This was fulfilled entirely through Jesus Christ, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit to serve as our perfect, sinless, and legal mediator.
The Courtroom of Heaven: On the Day of Judgment, there will be no turning back, and human excuses will mean absolutely nothing. You will not be asked which prominent bishop or apostle you followed. Salvation is not in man; your eternity depends solely on whether your name is legally cleared and written inside the Lamb's Book of Life.
The Ultimate Advocate and His Blood: Jesus operates as our supreme defense attorney (ummeli) in the heavenly courts. Just as an earthly lawyer wins a case by presenting specific legal "sections" of the law, Jesus entered the courts of heaven not with the blood of goats, but with His own blood to establish an ironclad defense for everyone who believes.
The Mystery of the Vinegar: While on the cross, Jesus was given vinegar. Vinegar is prophetically symbolic as a substance known for preserving and preventing blood from spoiling or decaying over long durations. This was a divine sign that His blood would remain eternally fresh, active, and legally binding to save humanity across all generations. Immediately after, He cried out, "It is finished!"
The Shredding of the Indictment: Apostle Paul explains that when darkness fell over the earth at the cross, Jesus took the legal scroll containing all of our sins, generational curses, and past failures, and nailed it directly to the cross—tearing it to shreds!
📣 BELIEVERS, WALK OUT WITH THIS DECREE TODAY: Stand tall and declare to every demon and power of darkness: "I am a changed man / I am a changed woman! My past is completely over, and my future is exceptionally bright!" The legal record of your past mistakes has been completely obliterated by the blood of Jesus. Go forward with boldness!
