‘Anger is the enemy of logic.’ How true is this statement?
a) Cain killed his brother Abel out of anger, illustrating the destructive nature of unchecked anger (Genesis 4:5-8).
b) King Saul: His jealousy and anger towards David led to his downfall (1 Samuel 18:8-9).
Unchecked or unmanaged anger has the potential to lead to significant moral and rational failures.
Which experiences do you have in this regard, that is, cases where you acted irrationally or impulsively when angry? If these were to happen again, how would you react?
