Dear Lord God, we give you thanks for the freedom we exercise and the many blessings of democracy we enjoy in South Africa. We ask for your protection and guidance for all who are still waiting in long queues to cast their vote at this hour. Be with those who will be counting the votes, help them to be fair and just in their work. Help us to accept the outcome of these elections. Heal us from our differences and unite us a nation.
