Dough rests not because it's been kneaded, but because it's becoming freshly baked bread. Rest is an essential step in the process of preparing to walk in all that He's called and created us for. Jesus modelled this every time He drew aside to be with the Father before big ministry moments, and He's inviting us to do the same.

What a beautiful weekend with Shofar Port Elizabeth!

On Saturday I shared at the Awaken Ladies Tea on the theme CHOSEN - positioned for purpose with power. On Sunday I preached on FREE TO FLOURISH - uprooting beliefs and behaviours in order to fulfill God's design and destiny for our lives, without restraint.

We saw the the Spirit of God move in such an incredible way - lives surrendered to Jesus, hearts were healed, chains were broken, hope and identities were restored.

So grateful to partnering with Godly women who carry the oil of intimacy with the King.

Play therapy is not just for children. When it comes to adults, play therapy can provide a means for expressing and processing the deep unspoken parts of our lives and experiences. Parts that we’re either oblivious to or that we struggle to find the words to articulate.

The playdough sculptures and sand trays I’ve built have led to some of my most insightful moments. Revealing an unrecognized need, a visual resolution of internal conflict, or just giving voice to something that felt unutterable.

Children process their emotions and experiences differently to adults. For them, “play is their language and toys are their words”.

With the use of sand trays, toys and creative activities, play therapy provides a safe way to assist children with emotional expression, communication, conflict resolution, self esteem and so much more.
