Come and join us for the SSVP 5km Fun Walk and Family Day along the beautiful Durban Promenade on Saturday, 19 September.

📍 Meet at the Suncoast Lawn
⏰ 7am for an 8am start
🎟️ Adults: R100
🎟️ Juniors: R50

🥇There will be medals for all walkers as well as some exciting lucky-draw prizes.

🤗 This morning at our 8am Mass, we celebrated the Rite of Acceptance for our RCIA and RCIC candidates.

🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🙋🏽‍♂️🙋‍♂️This is an important step in their journey of faith as they publicly expressed their desire to continue preparing to receive the Sacraments and to grow closer to Christ and His Church.

🙏 Please keep our candidates, their families, sponsors and catechists in your prayers as they continue this special journey. May the Lord guide and strengthen them every step of the way 👣 👣

🤍 Pope Leo XIV’s September Intention – Care for Water 💦

This September, Pope Leo XIV asks us to pray for the care of water, with a particular focus on ensuring that this precious resource is managed fairly and sustainably, so that everyone has access to it.

Water is something we can easily take for granted, but for many people around the world, access to clean and safe water is still a daily challenge.

This month, let us be mindful of how we use water and remember in our prayers all those who do not have easy access to this gift that is so essential to life.

🕊️ RCIA: Rite of Acceptance 🤗

This weekend at our 8am Mass, we have the joy of publicly welcoming the candidates who have completed their period of pre-catechumenate.

The Rite of Acceptance is an important step in their journey of faith as they express their intention to continue their journey towards becoming members of the Church.

As a parish community, let us welcome them warmly and keep them in our prayers.
