*Soul care with a difference*
On Thursday the Rector together with the Priests gathered at church with the Confirmands and their parents.

The Rector first addressed the confirmands and their parents about certain concerns. He also informed them about all the activities that are planned for them into the future.
Afterwards each Priest had a soul visit with the confirmands and their parents.

At the end of the meeting Brother Strydom read Acts 2:42 from the Bible.
Priest Craig Sias concluded the evening with prayer.

WORKS OF FAITH

On Wednesday, 29 April 2026, the congregation of Darling was served in word and sacrament by District Rector Shepherd Cedric Hagglund.

The recorders, together with the organ brought softness in the congregation with their musical renditions before serves.

BIBLE TEXT: 1 Peter 3:13
And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?

MESSAGE
Let us be diligent in doing good.

SUMMARY
■ We believe in Jesus Christ, our example.
■ In the divine services, we are equipped with the strength that helps us to overcome evil.
■ Let us do good for our neighbour, our family, and for ourselves.

After reading of the bible text, the congregation choir laid a beautiful foundation when rendering Hymn Collection 109 – Wholly Thine am I my Saviour.

FIRST SUNDAY | DIVINE SERVICE FOR THE DEPARTED

JESUS CHRIST, THE SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD

On Sunday, 01 March 2026, District Rector Shepherd Cedric Hagglund conducted the morning service in Darling Congregation, and was assisted at the altar by Rector, Community Evangelist Eugene Gabriels.

District Rector read a bible text, recorded in John 11:43 "Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” as bases for the sermon.

MESSAGE
Through faith in Jesus Christ, both the living and the dead experience salvation.

SUMMARY
■ Jesus’ call to “Come forth!” can apply to both the living and the dead.
■ Both the living and the dead are called to a life with God.
■ They must leave their grave, so to speak, and overcome the bitterness of past injustices.
■ They must separate themselves from egoism and self-isolation and move in the direction of Christian fellowship.

After conclusion of the divine service, the ministers greeted the members by hand, and took some time to have fellowwship and a few pictures taken. The Young People remained after service and accompanied the priestly ministers in serving the sick and infirm.
