REFUGE

In you, Lord, I have taken refuge. Let me never be put to shame! Deliver me in your righteousness. Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue. Be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me. Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of Your Name lead and guide me. Keep me free from the trap that is set for me, for you are my refuge. FRUIT

The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy, drunkenness, or**es, and the like. Those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Ladies Prayer Retreat - October 2026 - Grotto Bay

Quiet reflection on important topics, accompanied with heartfelt prayer, is a crucial part of our walk with God. The retreat programme will have sufficient time for this and so much more. The cost includes 2 nights' accommodation, Friday evening dinner, all Saturday meals and Sunday morning breakfast. Every participant will have her own bedroom. HIS NAME

What do you think of God’s Name? How do you view it? Are you in awe? Disrespectful? All altogether indifferent? Do you sometimes use His Name as a swearword? Do you use it flippantly as just another word in your vocabulary? We are called to ascribe the glory and strength that He deserves to the Name above all names, and to worship the Lord in the splendour of his holiness.

GOD HEARS

God is our Rock and He will never turn a deaf ear to us. He will not remain silent and leave us to be drawn into a pit of dark circumstances. He hears our cry for mercy as we call to Him for help. As we lift up our empty hands toward His Most Holy Place, He waits to fill them with His grace and mercy. He is able and willing to provide all the answers we need to move forward in alignment with His will.

Hear my voice when I call, Lord, be merciful to me and answer me. Your face I will seek. Teach me Your way and lead me in a straight path. Do not turn me over to the desire of false witnesses who spout malicious accusations. I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

SAFE!

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? Though an army attack me, my heart will not fear and I will be confident. One thing I ask from the Lord: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to see the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. For He will keep me safe and hide me in the shelter of his sacred place with my feet upon a rock.
