Pastor McDonald - Offering
Scriptures
-“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16 NKJV
-26)Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,
◦ -35)And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.”
Luke 1:26, 35 NKJV
—God gave his son to the world and when the son Jesus finished his work, the HOLYSPIRIT takes over where Jesus had ended his ministry on earth , and then the Holy Spirit is all over
-When you give, your giving speaks for and reaches places where you can’t access
-“And he blessed him and said: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tithe of all.”
Genesis 14:19-20 NKJV
When you tithe, you are declaring, 'God, You are the source of my income, not my job, not my business, not the government.' The tithe opens the windows of heaven over your finances, but more importantly, it opens the windows of heaven over your life—covering you from the devourer (Malachi 3:11).
SEEDING
“He who observes the wind will not sow, And he who regards the clouds will not reap. As you do not know what is the way of the wind, Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who makes everything. In the morning sow your seed, And in the evening do not withhold your hand; For you do not know which will prosper, Either this or that, Or whether both alike will be good.”
Ecclesiastes 11:4-6 NKJV
The Seed is different from the Tithe. The tithe protects what you have; the Seed multiplies what you will have. When you sow a seed, you are stepping into the supernatural law of sowing and reaping. You cannot reap where you have not sown. If you need a breakthrough, sow a breakthrough seed. If you need healing, sow into a healing ministry. Your seed carries your future in it.
OFFERING
Finally, never forget the Offering. This is the 'joy' of giving. When David brought the Ark back to Jerusalem, he gave offerings, not out of duty, but out of celebration. Your offering should be the overflow of your gratitude for what God has already done."
-“So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God. And when David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.”
I Chronicles 16:1-2 NKJV
