On Sunday, September 6th, 2026, Priest Lance Lombard, the Rector, led the divine service, assisted by Priest De-villiers.

𝟏 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟓:𝟖
And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.

𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲:
We receive salvation in Christ visibly by receiving the sacraments

𝑺𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒚
The divine Sonship of Jesus Christ is acknow-ledged by God the Father.
The Spirit, the water, and the blood point to the saving effect of the sacraments adminis-tered in the church of Christ.
The sacraments are necessary for obtaining salvation in its fulness.

Bible Text: Exodus 20:12
Honour your father and your mother.

Today’s service focused on the Fourth Commandment, a commandment expressed not as a prohibition but as a positive call to God‑pleasing conduct. It invites all generations—children, youth, and adults—to esteem their parents and to value the gift of family.

Obeying God and honoring our parents are not mutually exclusive, but God has priority.
We care for one another, especially in times of need.
Parents are to make it easy for their children to esteem them through their own God-pleasing conduct.
