The ministry was birthed out of much travail and a strong desire to see Jesus being Lord of His Church! Prophet Hugh Palmer went into much fasting and prayer in seeking God's face, due to the Church of Jesus Christ being powerless and full of endless turmoil. After seasons of fasting, the Holy Spirit opened to him that the Bible, God's Word, was no longer being preached in its purest form. With a

new zeal birthed, Prophet Hugh began preaching God's Word shamelessly which gave birth to many miracles, signs and wonders and to great moves of the supernatural. The Above Life Ministries is therefore a Church for all those who are tired of this endless, fruitless dead cycle of church going and serving. It is a place where you can come have an experience with the Living God, where you can bring the sick to be healed, come get refreshing, have God reaffirm Himself in your life.
