As we grow as a church, we know that at times it can feel harder to connect with people or get plugged in.

We believe in meeting together on a Sunday, but we also believe in doing life together outside of a Sunday.

We have connect groups that meet all over the city on different evenings of the week. Connect groups are smaller groups that meet in homes to run after God together, pray together, trust together, cry together, process together, eat together and do life together.

You were never meant to follow Jesus in isolation🤍

On 17 May 2026, we got to witness 7 people boldly and publicly declare their love for and faith in Jesus (all while braving the icy waters of the Camps Bay Tidal Pool). There was laughter and joy and many tears as people were touched and moved by the love of God🤍

When we get baptised, we say to the world that because of Christ, the old has gone and the new is here! We get to live as new creations - free and alive in Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17). That is glorious news!

“The reason I was facing so much fear and anxiety in that moment was because deep down, I don’t think I truly believed God was my Father.”

Do you believe that God is your Father? Have you ever even heard Him referenced this way? When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He didn’t begin with “Our Lord” or “Our King” (though He is those things) - He began with “Our Father.”

The God of the universe, the maker of heaven and earth wants you to know that He is your Father🤍

Last Sunday, 10th May, we had our first service at our Waterfront AM congregation. There was a great sense of joy, peace and expectation for what God is going to do in this space 🙌

We were designed to do life and faith together and so whether you’re new to Cape Town and looking for a church or maybe you’ve never stepped into a church in your life - you are so welcome here!

Jesus reminds us that in Him we have peace that surpasses all understanding. This peace is not dependent on our circumstances, but rather on trusting in Jesus, who has overcome the world.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

You might think repentance is about changing your behaviour… but Jesus was actually inviting us to change the way we think.

“Do not be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” - Romans 12:2

Real transformation doesn’t come from trying harder, it comes from renewed thinking. Learning to believe and trust Jesus more than ourselves.

Behaviour change isn’t the method of repentance - it’s the result of it🤍

WE ARE PLANTING ANOTHER CONGREGATION IN THE WATERFRONT👏

The Lord is on a mission to see Cape Town reconciled to Himself and we feel truly blessed to be able to partner with Him in His mission.

Join us this Sunday, 10 May at 9:30am for our first Waterfront AM service at the UCT
Graduate School of Business!

This congregation will be in addition to our Waterfront
PM congregation that will continue to meet at 5pm.

We're so expectant for what God is going to do in this community and we'd love for you to be part of it! Bring a friend and let’s come expectant to meet with the Living God!

You might wonder why we fast? Fasting isn’t about trying to get something from God or twisting His arm to answer our prayers. It’s about devoting ourselves to Him🙏

“Fasting is about bringing our lives before the Lord and saying, ‘God, do what You want in me. Shape me. Prepare me. Make me ready to carry Your presence.’”

In Matthew 6:16-18, Jesus says that “when you fast” not “if you fast” - we therefore believe that fasting is a spiritual discipline that Jesus calls us to on a regular basis.

Join us as a church as we step into three days of prayer and fasting from 4-6 May, culminating in a Worship Night at Good Hope Seminary Junior School on 6 May at 7PM 🎶

Feeling like joy is out of reach today? You’re not alone.

Psalm 16 reminds us that in the presence of the Lord, there is fullness of joy. Psalm 139 takes it one step further and assures us that even when His presence feels far away, there is nowhere we can go from Him.

Circumstances and lies might make joy feel impossible, but God’s Word is true. His presence is constant and in His presence, there is fullness of joy. In fact, He is Joy.

Will you lean into His Word today and choose to hold onto His promise?
