Topic: Dominion

Dominion:
1. To rule ,to have control or to take charge
2. Divine responsibility for better representation.
-God has given you a responsibility to represent him on earth
3. Authority given to us by God to manage or steward his creation.
4. Becoming an ambassador who represents heaven on earth.
5. Is ruling in the midst of opposition/enemies. Psalm 110:1-2, Job 1:10.
6. Is light subduing darkness perpetually.

What makes dominion possible:
1. Identity. Psalm 49:20
- The biggest problem of mankind is not knowing who they are. If you don't know who you are,society will determine who you are. Dominion starts by knowing. When you don't know the enemy comes in. 1Cor 3:16, Judges 6:12
- Ignorance is the fielding ground of Satan. The greatest enemy of a Man is ignorance. Psalm 82:6
- Jesus was born in a manger but he knew his identity. It's understanding that makes you stand.

Four identities that every believer must know in order to rule:
1. You are a royal priesthood (Kingship), a royalty not by birth but by adoption. 1 Peter 2:9
- We are here to occupy but we can't occupy if we don't know who we are. Luke 19:13
Who is a king?
✓ A ruler over a domain/territories. Rev 5:10.
What makes a King?
1. Territory(Place to rule ), the land. Numbers 33:53, Ecclesiastes 5:9
2. A King can't rule without people. Proverbs 14:28.
- We are stranded because we don't have able men around us.
- Everything you desire on earth is in the hands of someone. If you have nobody to help you you will be helpless.
- Jesus needed God and men to fulfil destiny. Luke 2:52. Humans are a channel if you despise them you will be stranded. Job 42:12
3. Every King has wealth. 1Kings 2:28
- If you are a king with no wealth your kingship will be questionable.
- God gives power to make wealth. Deut 8:18
- Jesus became poor so that by his poverty we could be rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9
4. Every King meets the needs of others.
- You are a lender and not a borrower.

There's no King without a crown.
Jesus has crowned us with glory and honour. But satan/ the devil has stripped us off of our glory. Job 19:9, Lamentations 4:1
Take back your crown by force. Matt 11:12

You are made in the image of God. Gen 1 :26.
You are powerful
✓ After the fall Humans could stop rain( Elijah) . 1 Kings 17:1
✓ Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego entered the fire and were not burnt. Daniel 3:26. Whatever you are going through you can come out of it.
✓ Daniel went into the Lions den and came out unharmed. Daniel 6:15-
- Your faithfulness to God will save you one day.
✓ Apostle Paul was bitten by the poisonous snake, he shook it off into the fire and he was unharmed. Acts 28:5-6

Topic: Dealing with the spirit of time waster

Things to know about time:
1. Time is a gift from God. Daniel 2:21
- God entrusted us with time so we can manage it wisely.
2. Time is a true prophet.
-With time we will know who is with us.
3. We are called to give an account for the time we have been given. Eph 5:16

What waste time?Enemy of time
1. Laziness. Prov 12:11, Proverbs 6:6
-A lazy person is a person with no goals. Go and find something for you to survive.
2. Lack of discipline . Song of Solomon 1:6
- When you lack discipline you will focus on others rather than looking at yourself.
3. Procrastination. James 4:13-14
- Stop making excuses tomorrow is not yours. Procrastinators die with their dreams.
4. Self deception/lie
- Telling yourself you are there.You are in relax mode because you are driving a car. You're happy ,content with little income. Come to your senses.
5. Spirit of delay..
- Delay is a late arrival.

Jesus cried twice according to the Bible.
1. When Lazarus died. John 11:35
2. He wept because of the City(Jerusalem). Luke 19:41-42,
-The city could not understand time and season . Life is about seasons (opportunities)and seasons don't always come. Jerusalem missed their time of security, happiness and prosperity(Jesus).

There are systems which God has set aside to recover time.

1. Heaven system/ God's hand:
*System that God uses so that the time that is against us can be for us.
* God's help.He lifts the poor from the dust and sets them among princes. 1 Samuel 2:8
2. Mercy system . Psalm 102:13
- Mercy activates charios time(now time.
When Kairos time comes:
✓ It swallows pain.Jeremiah 15:18
✓ It restores the years that were stolen. Jeremiah 32:10
