FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Have you been carrying a burden that feels too heavy to bear? Perhaps it is a financial struggle, a health concern, a broken relationship, the loss of a loved one, or an unanswered prayer. Whatever the burden may be, know this: you were never meant to carry it alone.
Our Heavenly Father sees every tear, hears every prayer, and knows every concern before we even speak it. Sometimes we try to carry life’s burdens in our own strength, only to become weary and discouraged. But Jesus lovingly invites us to bring every burden to Him.
The Lord never promised that we would never face trials, but He did promise that He would walk with us through every valley. When the weight of life feels overwhelming, remember that God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness. He is our refuge, our comfort, and our ever-present help in times of trouble.
As we continue to see the signs of the times unfolding around us, let us not be overcome by fear or anxiety. Instead, let us draw nearer to God, trusting that He remains in control. Our hope is not found in this world but in Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world.
At Docks Mission Cranleigh, our message remains “Holiness Unto The Lord.” We believe that as we surrender our burdens to God and walk faithfully with Him, He will strengthen us, guide us, and give us peace that surpasses all understanding.
Scripture of the Week
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
No burden is too great for God. Lay it at His feet and trust Him to carry what you cannot.

Mission Manna - Sharing God’s Love
Mission Manna is our year-long outreach ministry where we collect non-perishable food items and household essentials to bless families in need during our December community distribution.
We welcome donations of tinned fish, baked beans, tinned beans, sweet corn, whole kernel corn, corned beef, rice, pasta, mielie meal, oats, peanut butter, jam, sugar, coffee, tea, powdered milk, salt, jelly, custard powder, toilet paper, toilet soap, Sunlight soap, and other non-perishable groceries.
Every gift, no matter how small, becomes a blessing to someone in need and is a practical way of sharing the love of Christ.
If you do not have a church home, we warmly invite you and your family to join us at Docks Mission Cranleigh. There is a place for you here, and we would love to worship, pray, and grow together in the Lord.
May the Lord lift every burden from your shoulders, fill your heart with His peace, and remind you that you never have to walk alone.
