Deuteronomy 4:24
“For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.”

Message
God is holy. He is love. We decide for Him.

District Rector placed emphasis on us to be mindful of the idols of our time. Such as the pursuance of wealth or fame.
He encourages Gods children to draw closer to Jesus Christ, use the talents you have been blessed with to worship and realign ourselves with God.

Summary

■ God is beyond all
human control.
■ God cares for humanity
with passionate love.
■ God is our refuge and
our help. Let us surrender
ourselves to Him
completely.

🌟 Sunday School Coordinators Conference – Reflections 🌟

The Cape Coastal Apostle Area is pleased to announce the upcoming Sunday School Coordinators Conference, taking place on Saturday, 19 September 2026, at the beautiful Rustenberg Wine Estate, Stellenbosch.

With the theme “Reflections,” the conference will provide an opportunity for our Sunday School Coordinators to pause, reflect on their journey, share experiences, learn from one another, and look ahead with renewed purpose and enthusiasm. 🙏🏻✨

As we continue nurturing and guiding our children in their faith, may this gathering inspire meaningful conversations, strengthen our commitment to Sunday School ministry, and encourage us to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.

Friendship Divine Service.

Sunday, 06th September 2026.
Our service was led by our Rector Marcus and the basis for the divine service was read out of 1 John 5:8.
“And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.”

The Saving Effects of the Sacraments.

We receive salvation in Christ visibly by receiving the sacraments.

Priest Rhoodt was also called upon to serve.

Summary:

■ The divine Sonship of Jesus Christ is acknowledged by God the Father.

■ The Spirit, the water, and the blood point to the
saving effect of the sacraments administered
in the church of Christ.

■ The sacraments are necessary for obtaining salvation in its fullness.
