Look back at last week Saturday our Potjie Pursuit was an unforgettable celebration of flavour, fun, and fellowship!

What an incredible turnout! We were treated to an array of mouth-watering potjies, great company, and plenty of good company that warmed our hearts. A huge thank you to all our talented culinary experts who cooked up such delicious potjies, and to everyone who came along and made the day so special.

Your enthusiasm and gees brought the event to life and made it one to remember. We couldn’t have done it without you!

💙 WELCOME TO THE LINKWAY FAMILY! 💙

We are delighted to share that Brandon Michael Townsend has officially started as our new Worship Pastor at Linkway Church, together with his wife, Michelle Townsend, and their two boys.

For many of us, this feels like a homecoming. Brandon served as an intern at Linkway from 2013 to 2016 while studying at Cape Town Baptist Seminary. He then spent nine and a half years faithfully serving at Somerset West Baptist Church—first as Youth Pastor from 2017 to 2021, and then as Worship Pastor.

What excites us most is Brandon’s deep passion for Jesus and his desire to help people see just how glorious Jesus truly is—not only when we gather to sing, but in every sphere of life. We believe worship is far more than a Sunday moment; it is a whole life surrendered to Jesus.

His official induction will take place next month, but for now, we simply want to say: welcome home! We are grateful that God has brought you to Linkway, and we look forward with faith and expectation to all He will do in and through your family.

What a special weekend as we honoured Pastor Gavin, as he steps into full-time retirement.

Pastor Gavin, thank you for your faithful leadership, your unwavering love for Jesus, and the incredible impact you've had on our church and so many lives over the years. Your legacy will continue for generations to come.

We are deeply grateful for all you've poured into this church and pray God's richest blessings over this new season. Thank you for serving so faithfully.

As Pastor Allan mentioned this morning, we're very excited to welcome Pastor Brandon Michael Townsend to the Linkway team! Ps Brandon will join our pastoral team officially from 1 August, so you'll see him, his wife Michelle Townsend and their boys very soon!

We're so expectant for how the Spirit is going to use Ps Brandon, with his passion for Jesus, years of pastoral experience and tremendous love for people.
