God breaks you before He uses you. Before God can use you, He has to work on you. If the situation is not changing, you must change in order to change the situation. Everything is by the grace of God, not by our own capacity.

“When will the breaking of me and the working on me end, God?” Challenges can change us. When God decides, He is the one who makes things work together. Sometimes God doesn’t work in you — He works in your neighbor, for you.

UNDERSTANDING : THE BATTLE OF THE PROCESS
1 Chronicles 4:10
Jabez prayed and asked God to bless him, enlarge his territory, and keep him from evil. His prayer shows us that we can bring our desires before God. But God's answer does not always come in the way or timing we expect.
HOW DOES GOD ANSWER?
Isaiah 55:8–9
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways…”
God does not think like us.
•⁠ ⁠God's thoughts are higher than ours.
•⁠ ⁠God's ways are higher than ours.
•⁠ ⁠Therefore, when you ask God for something, do not decide in advance how He must answer.
•⁠ ⁠Never put God in a box.
•⁠ ⁠Trust God's wisdom even when His method is different from what you expected.
