This Sunday morning service was truly uplifting, highlighted by the welcoming of 2 new members, the baptism of 4 toddlers, and a special blessing for Edward Felton's new business endeavor, followed by holy communion 🙏🏽. A powerful sermon titled 'Faith That Refuses to Give Up' was delivered by our Resident Rev JC Goeiman, based on Matthew 15:21-28, which touched our hearts deeply. We are grateful for the worship team's commitment and faithfulness. Gathering in the house of the Lord was indeed a blessing, filling us with joy and gratitude.🙏🏽🙏🏽

We extend our deepest gratitude to God for the opportunity URC Claremont had to journey alongside Rev J C Goeiman and his family for the past decade. Rev Goeiman's compassionate leadership and kindness exemplified God's grace. Today, we were honored to pay tribute to him and his family, with notable guests including Rev Derek Marco, Rev Godfrey Baardman, and Professor Nico Koopman, who delivered an inspiring message. The celebration featured performances by our Sunday school children, dance group, and choirs. Elder Edgar Magaar conveyed appreciation on behalf of the church council and congregation, and Rev Goeiman's poignant words moved everyone to tears.🙏🏽
