Sunday morning’s main reading was from James 1:19 on the theme:

“Changing pace in God’s order”

THROUGH PLACING THE WORD IN YOU…
He chose YOU to be first fruit!

You are dedicated to GOD for purpose.

You are First.
You have purpose.
You are not a scattered people, as part of a punishment.
You are a seed, filled with the Word and God's Spirit, chosen by the sower to scatter across the nations to spread His message of Love and Salvation.

James says this is how we live as Christians amongst each other through trials.

On Sunday morning, our main reading was from Isaiah 53:4-5 on the theme:

“Healed by His Wounds”

Our Heavenly Father has pleasure in the prosperity of his children, and it is His will that His children should always walk in good health because the Scripture says: “by His stripes we are healed”. The death-defying power that raised Jesus from the dead is within us, not only for our own healing but also for all whom we are able to touch.

Sunday morning’s main readings were from Romans 5:3-5 and James 1:2-4 on the theme:

“A life aligned through perseverance and hope”

Alignment with God's will doesn't mean a life without trials. It means remaining steadfast in hope, persevering in faith, and trusting (blindly) that every trial is an opportunity for God to reveal His glory.

Difficult seasons shape our character and deepen our faith.

What the enemy intends to destroy us with; God uses for our good.

Challenges develop perseverance, strength, and spiritual maturity.

Just keep going; keep trusting the author and perfector of your faith.

God has a plan; He has already prepared the way.

Just keep trusting even when you don’t understand or see a way out.

Sunday morning’s main reading was from 1 Samuel 3:4-10 on the theme:

“Whose voice are you hearing?”

Deborah listened to God’s voice; she gave God’s message to Barak and led Israel to victory.

Huldah, the prophetess, listened to God’s voice and warned King Josiah of the coming judgment.

The prophet Jeremiah listened to God’s voice and often warned Judah of their wrongdoings.

Mary listened to God’s voice and became the mother of our Saviour.

Sunday morning’s main reading was from John 15:1-5 on the theme:

“Relational Alignment”

Relational Alignment is a choice, not something we are forced into.

Our lives are aligned when we are connected to Jesus, led by the Father, and producing fruit that glorifies God.

To grow close to Jesus Christ, we must stay connected.

Our connection with Jesus will result in fruit bearing.

Sunday morning’s main reading was from Esther 4:13-14 on the theme:

“Equipped for the Assignment”

I AM CALLED AND CHOSEN
I AM BUILT WITH THE CAPACITY TO RESTORE
I WILL NOT QUIT
I WILL NOT SURRENDER
I AM EQUIPPED FOR MY ASSIGNMENT
I AM ANOINTED TO CHANGE THE TRAJECTORY OF MY FAMILY, MY COMMUNITY, MY NATION

I WILL NOT BE SILENT
I WILL FIND MY VOICE AND SPEAK UP
I AM ENOUGH, AND I HAVE ENOUGH
I WILL HOLD SPACE FOR MY SISTER
I WILL LISTEN AND NOT JUDGE
I AM AT THE RIGHT PLACE, AT THE RIGHT TIME, AND I AM EQUIPPED FOR MY OWN ASSIGNMENT

LOOK, GOD IS BIRTHING A NEW THING, AND I AM PART OF HIS PLAN!

GOD BLESS

Sunday morning’s main reading was from Proverbs 27:17 on the theme:

“IRON SHARPENS IRON, Beginning at Home”

WE ARE THE HEAD - LEAD ACCORDINGLY
“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” (Ephesians 5:25)
LEAD means being the FIRST to apologise.
LEAD means being the LAST to give up.
LEAD means SETTING THE TONE - for love, peace, and faith.

IRON SHARPENS IRON - WE NEED EACH OTHER
SHARPEN YOUR MARRIAGE - be real, communicate, allow correction.
SHARPEN YOUR FAMILY - model honesty and humility daily.
SHARPEN YOUR FAITH - you cannot grow if you refuse to be seen.

MAKE IT RIGHT - TODAY
SEVEN WORDS - “I was wrong, and I love you.”
GO FIRST - don’t wait for the other person.
DIRECTION, NOT PERFECTION - a repentant heart moving toward Christ.

LET IT START HERE.
LET IT START TODAY.
LET IT START WITH YOU.

“But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)

Sunday morning’s main readings were from 1 Samuel 1:12-17 and Luke 1:13-14 on the theme:

“WAITING IN PRAYER, LIVING IN THANKFULNESS”

Hannah had a song of praise (1 Samuel).
Mary had a song of praise (1 Luke 1:46).
Zechariah sang a prophetic song of praise after the birth of his son, John (Luke 1:67-79).
Moses sang a song of praise after God delivered Israel through the Red Sea (Exodus 15:1-18).
David wrote many songs of praise, including numerous psalms.

When God brings you through your season of waiting, what will your song of praise be?

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Saviour.

Sunday morning’s main reading was from Psalm 78:19 on the theme:

“Can God prepare a table in the Wilderness?

Can God prepare a table in the wilderness? God can. He can fix your broken marriage, heal your pain, get you out of financial problems, restore what the devil has stolen, provide inner strength for trials and tribulations, and give you peace. God can take care of you in this difficult world today.

God can give you the desires of your heart and change your heart and circumstances today. He offers forgiveness, grace, and hope for the future. No matter what happened in the past, or what is going on in your life right now, it has no power to keep you from a good future if you walk by faith in God. God is the only enduring source—the ultimate provider of peace, stability, comfort, and strength, especially in difficult times and hopeless situations.

God will come through for you IF…
You change your attitude towards God, and He will change your situation. Tell God what you have - He will give you what you need and what you don’t have. Be grateful, and God will be gracious. Be thankful, and God will be mindful.

The story of God preparing a table in the Wilderness reminds us that God is still faithful and able to provide for our needs today.

Even in challenging times, we can trust that God will provide what we need, both physically and spiritually.
