As we started our new series, "Blessed is the man" from Psalm 1, we explored what it truly means to be blessed.

​To be blessed means to live in a state of continuous joy, peace, contentment, and fulfillment. So often, the world tricks us into believing that happiness comes from material things, relationships, or giving in to worldly compromises. But true, lasting joy comes from living a holy life, sold out to God.

Every part of the body has a purpose—and we need each other.

​As we continued our Unity series looking at 1 Corinthians 12:12–21, we are reminded that Christ has given us different gifts for one shared goal: to glorify God as one unified body.

​In any team, ministry, or community, it’s easy to fall into one of two traps: thinking we are more important than everyone else, or believing our contribution doesn't matter at all. But God designed us so that every part is valuable.

​The head needs the hand, the eye needs the foot, and I need you just as much as you need me.

​• Avoid Pride: Never fall into the trap of thinking the body cannot function without you. Serve the Lord with true humility.

• Avoid Insecurity: Never assume you aren't needed. Your gifting is essential to the overall mission.

• Honor Every Role: Differing gifts exist so we can complete each other, not compete with each other.

As we continued with our Unity series, we looked at Proverbs 6:16–19, where scripture exposes what God detests. While many things grieve Him, scripture highlights one in particular: a person who sows discord among brothers.

​In fact, bringing division into a peaceful community, marriage, or family is so destructive in God's eyes that it carries the same weight as practicing witchcraft.

​It takes years of patience, love, and hard work to build peace and understanding—yet one person sowing discord can shatter years of effort in just one day.

​• God detests division: Sowing discord isn't just a small mistake; scripture places it among the highest offenses against God's peace.

• Unity is fragile: Don't let unresolved personal issues or careless actions undo years of trust.

• Be a builder, not a breaker: Choose to protect the relationships, marriages, and community God has established around you.
