We look forward to welcoming all final year confirmands, parents, confirmation teachers, Sunday School coordinators, and Rectors for this blessed gathering in preparation for this important milestone in the lives of our confirmands.

You are God's temple

On Wednesday 27 May 2026, District Rector Clarence Cookson visited the anticipated congregation of NACSA New Woodlands South Congregation

The bible text used for this midweek divine service was taken from 1 Corinthians 3:16 "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”

The congregation wonderfully concluded the divine service with "Praise thou the Lord" and the District Rector and priestly ministers greeted all members in attendance thereafter.

On Tuesday 26 May 2026, New Woodlands North and New Woodlands South confirmands, teachers, parents and young people gathered together for an onboarding session "My mission my Church influence"
Much fun and laughter was experienced amongst everyone present 👌

Confirmands weekend away 8- 10 May 2026, presented by Woodlands District

The 2027 confirmands and teachers came together for a weekend away at the Groot Drakenstein Culture Centre creating long lasting bonds and meaningful memories.

On Monday 18 May 2026, our Young People in Christ congregate for the catch-up discussion "Active & Alive in the Spirit" in preparation for Pentecost 🕊

On Saturday 16 May 2026, senior coordinators gathered together to prepare a scrumptious brunch for the mothers of the congregation.

Priest Brandon Walters opened with prayer and the afternoon ended with song and worship.

Remaining focused

On Sunday 10 May 2026, Bishop Grant James officated the divine service.

Sunday school children also took the lead in door keeping, ushering and choir.

The bible text used for this sabbath day was taken out of Philippians 3:13–14 (NKJV) "Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

The Rector, Priest Brandon Walters was called to serve and the Sunday school children and teachers beautifully concluded the divine service with "Give me joy in my heart" 🎶 🎵

After the divine service, the Bishop Grant James and priestly ministers greeted all members in attendance.

All those celebrating mother's day received a sweet treat to make their day extra special!
