CREATING CAPACITY
Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. *Isaiah 54:2*( NIV)
God will never pour beyond our capacity. If we want more, we must create room for more.
Creating capacity is not just about praying for increase, it is about preparing ourselves for the increase we are praying for.
We cannot ask God for a big business when we have not learned faithfulness with a small one. We cannot ask for a great marriage when we have not worked on our character.
We cannot ask for a bigger platform when we have not been faithful with the small audience God has given us.
Capacity is created through learning, through building character, through discipline and through faith. We must read, get trained and be coached.
We must deal with pride, anger and laziness. We must be consistent with what we have now and expand your mind to believe God for more.
When we create capacity, God fills it.
Father in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the capacity You have already given me. Today I ask for grace to enlarge my capacity. Remove every limitation, fear and laziness holding me back.
Prepare me for the opportunities ahead. Lord, stretch me, build me and fill me for Your glory. Amen.
