Me and My Balance - Christ at the Centre

On Monday, 1 June 2026, ministers of the district gathered at NAC Lavistown Congregation for an inspiring and thought-provoking training session titled "Me and My Balance".

The session was expertly presented by the Rector of NAC - Sidneyvale Congregation, PR Jean Pierce, who shared valuable insights on maintaining balance in ministry, work, personal and family life. The engaging discussions and practical guidance encouraged reflection, growth, and renewed purpose among all in attendance.

Seeking the kingdom of God

On Sunday, 3 May 2026, the young people of Lavistown District gathered at Valhalla Park Congregation NAC for a special divine service conducted by our District Rector, PR C Barnes.

The message was centred on Matthew 6:33: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

This powerful reminder encouraged the young people to keep Christ at the center of their lives - seeking fellowship with Him and trusting that all else will follow in His perfect timing.

NAC - Sidneyvale Congregation Rector Helper, CEV R van der Poel, was called to serve along.

Following the divine service, the youth shared meaningful moments of fellowship, including an engaging Q&A session with the rectors. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, ask questions, and grow together in faith.
